How to see mission budgets?

Say I take 4 contracts which will pay x amount in total, if I hit all objectives.

When I build my spaceship, I know what I've spent on it, but I don't see any way to check what you stand to make from a mission without jumping into the command center and adding it up yourself. Am I missing something?

This is one area of the UI that I wish had more info handy. For now, you'll have to keep track by writing it down somewhere.

I was looking for the same thing. I wanted to keep the cost of my craft under the money I would be making off the contract, but you can't see that in the VAB. The only thing you can do is go back out to the mission control and click on the active contracts tab.

I don't think you understand the request. Kalculator wouldn't solve this at all.
