disabling control surface WHILE FLYING

Is there a way to disable control surface while I fly? I'm making F14 like swept wing airplane, and i want to disable the outer ctrl surface.

How do YOU achieve that? Mod? tricks? Any help? in advance, thx a lot.

As far as I know the only way to disable control surfaces in during construction (with FAR you can toggle what axis of input they respond to)

Right click in flight. disable the Axis you don't want it to respond to.

To make it fully in active just disable all axis. Bear in mind that doing it in flight does not affect symmetrically placed parts, you will have to change both separately,

Yeah, but isn't it a way to do it with only one button? nobody ever heard of a mod for that?

I dunno, see if you can map the function to an action group or something.
