New main menu Easter egg?

So, I saw this on my menu. The first is the normal screen, the lower one with an anomalous shadow below the landing leg on the "Mun or Bust" craft.

There's also a small white object that flashes by before the shadow (which moves, by the way. It's only on the screen for about a second) but I haven't been quick enough to get that screenshotted yet. (they both move)

Edit: it happens every time I start the game so far.

The OP is like a "Spot the Difference" game - here I was clicking back and forth about eight times to see the shadow.

It might be evidence of either a bug, the Kraken, or some sort of alien life form... Or a Kerbonaut on the Mun is screwing with ya.

I found it! It's a spinning light...

I blame Toolbar, but this thing is spawning in every starting sequence now, so it might be a bug after all...

Sometimes it just explode and go away, sometimes it just stop.

Yes, that would be a bug.

I've reuploaded the Toolbar Plugin with a few bugfixes, so it should work as intended now. Just redownload and replace the Toolbar.dll.

That is because the whole thing is a hoax. Kerbals can't actually go to the Mun. The cosmic rays would kill them. The whole thing was shot on a sound stage by the director Stanley Kerbalbeck

Don't worry. This all happened two years ago. At that time Blizzy was toying around with a fake mun landing Easter egg in the menu screen.
