Utterly brilliant. Are you just activating action groups with Autohotkey? I've got Autoit (a Autohotkey branch) but decided to do it in kOS because I though there could be some input lag from outside KSP, have you noticed any?

the legs are controlled individually; there are 8 IR hotkeys total for the legs, 2 per leg. I experimented with walking manually to figure out the order in which to move the legs, then scripted it out with autohotkey. If you look closely you will see that I am actually using two different gaits; at the beginning im moving 1 leg at a time, then switch to moving two diagonally-opposite legs at once, which will be the "fast moving gait" once I figure out the timing.

didn't notice any input lag
