why is it so dark?

i just returned from my mission to ike and i have i question

even though i warped time so the kerbol (sun) was right above us, it was so damn dark at the surface.

when i take a look at my photos from mun and minimus and even duna, ike looks like it has black clouds above the surface

Some players experienced this as a bug a while back. I hadn't heard of it happening recently.

I had that happen the first time I landed on Ike, back in ...I think it was 0.19. It was a nightmare, it was like backing into a black abyss.

A reload of the game would be the only thing I could suggest.
