My first landing on a other planet!

Finally I made my way into a other planet. It was duna. I'm very happy about it

After I landed I was hoping for ANY kethane (didn't scan) And well, there was none, but it greeted me with a nice solar eclipse!

Didn't you land on mun or minmus before?

Another thing: If you would have used Karbonite, you would've been able to extract it from the surface. It's based on concentration, not "everything or nothing" like in Kethane. Maybe you want to give it a try for interplanetary missions^^

I still remember when the message "Duna encounter" appeared on my screen for the very first time. I was so happy.

But then I accidentally timewarped past the planet and had to do it all over again, but still - it was glorious.

Me too This because it was when planets came by ( by your join date I assume it was similar to you ) and there were still no manouver nodes, any kind of closest aproach system or even ascending descending markers to know where to make plane changes ... thus meaning that any orbital insetion manouver was a case of a lot of eyeballing and luck :/ So when I actually got a Duna encounter I was radiant ( Jool is far easier to get by eyeball, due to it's massive SoI ... even Eve is easier than Duna because of that )
