Jeb: currently orbiting Kerbin

Bob: overshot the Mün due to a freak time warp incident and ended up on the north pole of Duna, don't worry we have a probe launched to send him a nice cabin and a bottle of skotch then we will send a rescue team.

Bill: enjoying a nice break after a long and successful mission to the Mün since Jeb is unavailable he'll be testing the next set of space planes (shhh we haven't told him yet)

So where are yours?

In the current games I'm on right now:

My work laptop:

Jeb is camped out on Minmus to plant flags whenever a flag contract comes up for that place.

Bob is in "Science station alpha" over the Mun, stuck in meetings all day

Bill is on Mun to plant flags for money.

My main gaming desktop

Jeb: In orbit of the mun in a test ship: Rocomax wanted me to test their poodle engine in orbit of mun.

Bill: Operating the ground base to launch ships to the stanford torus build site over the mun.

Bob: Somewhere

LOL, I have a rescue probe to pick up stray Kerbals constantly orbiting when that mission comes up

In a rover on Eve. Their return vessel collapsed in front of their eyes when they came into physics range.

I've not been any further than Duna, only just realised the benifits of gravity assists

All 3 safe and sound at KSC, supervising the missions. And I'm really not using them for any missions, apart from a test flight or so.

I only really use the 3, I have a feeling I won't be so lucky now

I had originally sent my "Elite" Three to interplanetary space in different directions in the hopes that they'd encounter new science back in the 0.22 era, in my very first save. I wasn't sure at the time if there would be science in the different parts of interplanetary space, or where such science would be.

Later on in that same save, I sent probe-controlled rescue vessels to pick them up (Jeb's craft got krakened and was only a capsule when I approached it), and I dragged them back to KSC and stored them safely on a little orbital station comprised of a Mk1-2 pod and a small service module.

Fortunately none of them had any random planetary encounters during that time.

Jeb was murdered by the Kraken on a return trip from the Mun. His ship was torn apart and tossed out of the system. The capsule survived but when I returned to the tracking station it had vanished. I like to think he's still out there...

Bill was killed when a prototype space-plane he was testing crashed on take-off.

Bob is presently mission commander of a 3 man space station in Kerbin orbit.

they're all in a space station in orbit around Kerbin. my intention was to bring them home for my trans-Jool "Borealis" mission, but i've already filled all the crew slots for the mission, and i'm not about to send anyone home; they would be crestfallen! so for the time being Bob, Bill, and Jeb are going to stay in HKO doing paperwork until i need them again.

all three sitting in the mothership around tylo, after jeb made it down and up again. tylo checked but eeloo mission was underway so... they sit there. like 5 years or so, i think I'll rally all missions in the jool system and send all folks there home. soon. when i find the time...

Jeb and Bob are orbiting the sun, in an orbit not far off from Kerbins. They were returning from Minmus, with a safe periapsis around 30km. I think I had warp too high when they changed from the Minmus SOI to Kerbins, because the game glitched and sent them out of Kerbins SOI with no where near enough fuel to get back...

A rescue mission will launch this afternoon

Bill and Jeb are in my Orbital Ion ship and assemble my new station piece by piece.

Bob is just back from testing my new very small lander that has all of the science instrument and 3.6 Dv without extra "Tylo" fuel tanks.

Bill and Jeb are busy for a while. Bob is next scheduled to test a Large tanker craft to see if it can head to Jool and still have enough for refueling the station and head home. Since the tanker nor it's launcher are really tested, Bob will have to test pilot it... sorry Jeb.

Jeb, Bill and Bob are currently relaxing in the recruitment center, eating snacks and regaling the newbies with stories about their last Duna mission and how they nearly did'nt make orbit (had to use the rcs to raise the PE beyond the atmosphere, then remote pilot the interplanetary drive system to drop down from a 150km orbit to a 45 km orbit to dock with them and take them home.

Their next mission is taking 2 remotely piloted aircraft to Laythe and flying them about for fun and kicks.....

All up on my OKS/Interstellar science station around the Mun, after a weird USI issue killed four of the six kerbals manning it.

Before that they were on my first IR telescope platform for this save, which was designed from the ground up to be re-enterable.

Bob is resting up from the successful completion of a Duna landing mission.

Bill just returned from launching three microsats via the space plane.

And Jeb? Well, after sneaking aboard rescue ships over and over he was assigned flag planting duties on the Mun. No return trip planned anyway, but in a spasm of incompetence he botched the landing and is left with just the capsule. Periodically he gets a tone in his helmet and he takes out the flag, plants it, waits for confirmation, and then takes it down. We may send a ship for him if a really dangerous mission comes up.

In my current game, all three are at KSC ready to go. I only send them on "rescue a kerbal" contracts or missions where I want them to get home, so for one-way colony trips I recruit more astronauts.

In my .23.5 game, Jeb and Bob were last sitting on Eve waiting for a lift home, while Bill was waiting for a ride home from Dres.

Current game: Only Jeb is capable of piloting.

No reverts, no saves.

Jeb is piloting the Jool explorer-2, currently looking at the sushi on Bop.

Bill is manning the MunBase Gamma

Bob is stranded on Laythe, until he can convince Jeb that it really wasn't his fault that burrito was so ... gaseous.
