Great! Thanks... I'm hoping to at least hit my fourth dark green bar before the changeover. I remember the excitement I felt when I got my first dark green bar... it only took me about six months to earn it! The second bar - only a year :shock: . The third bar, about six weeks...

I know the points really mean nothing, and as I have shared before on other threads, it actually kept me interested in the forum in the early days since I felt I really didn't have (and really still don't) anything really meaningful to offer the community. Because of the job I have, I cannot spend a lot of time making mods like I did for other games. I don't have the patience to "create" missions or concepts as such as ZooNamedGames has done with his vision of recreating the early days of NASA missions.

I wish they would do SOMETHING rather than a green dot with a number, but I am not the one making the final decisions.

Alright guys. Due to time restrictions I was not able to add the remained 51(!) descriptions, so I do apologize if your name is on the list and you don't have a blurb. The forum is due to update within 24 hours, and whenever we come back, we will no longer have rep bars. It is still undecided what will become of this group, but for now, the [B]final update[/B] of the beloved light green group has been published. There will be no more updates the way you know them to be ever again. ;.;

I do ask that you leave feedback as to what will happen to the group in the future. Do we change it to a "Above certain rep number" list? Or a "Top 100" list? Any ideas or suggestions? Please post them here. Also, go ahead and grab you signature rep badge if you desire, they are fixed and on the first page with a key for how many points corresponds to the correct picture.

Well, looks like that's it. *sniffs* This is Endersmens, signing off on the last update of the Light Green Group for all eternity.

Yes, top 100 would probably be the best idea. ;). No, serious, I really think this is best. Or maybe just make the over-500 group, and explain the number ("why not thousand??") with some nostalgia to the light green group!

I wonder how the new rep system will work exactly; currently you give 1-5 rep points based on a "rep power" system (most people give 4 or 5, but some new users give a little less), but will the new system ditch that? Will it always be 1 point given? 5 points? Will the "you've repped this person too many times recently, spread it around" message still exist?

Yes this page won't be deleted..but it won't have a purpose like it did before. We won't have light green bars, or bars at all. Just the number that we already have next to a circle. Hence, light green group will be gone. But I'm trying to figure out how to keep a similar group when the move is done.

Maybe come up with an acronym for "R.E.P." And use it in the title instead of "the light green group"? :/ I really wish it would stay with bars and not numbers. You could always keep the name the same and justify it at the top of the page too. That's probably the better option. Edited by Avera9eJoe

Have to disagree with this. How would someone feel when someone bumps them off the list?

The LGG is an achievement of sorts, once you've made it it can't be taken away. A top 100 would be a leaderboard in a race that never ends, and would encourage rep exchanging.

Indeed. I definitely agree with Red Iron Crown on this one. As well we have a tool which generates the list so we wouldn't gain much from switching to "top 100". It would just shorten the page.
