Epsilon Bravo Niner - Large SSTO [B9][F.A.R.][25]

A large semi delta wing spaceplane with ample cargo space.

Performance is unproven as I have not had time to optimize the fuel load and flight profile.

I have made it to full orbit once.

Working with FAR for the first time on this one, as B9 requires it.

Rotate at 120 or end of runway.

I recommend climbing only at 30 - 35 degrees pitch, or large scale wing stall will occur and subsequent loss of control. Climb performance is good. Excess thrust is very good.

The star in the diagram depicts the point from which fuel should be equally loaded fore and aft, and is the empty COM.

I have not finetuned placement of RCS thrusters, and I have not placed airbrakes on the back yet. Feel free to work with it.

The shoulder tanks are full in the craft, since there are so many, I filled them for you. Not all shoulder tanks are used, as this would cause the COM to change with burn (same goes for the front most tanks of the fuselage). The ones near the COM contain RCS fuel. You can manipulate the fuel load of the "Main tanks" and also the tanks further out if desired.

Action groups:

Spacebar to start all engines

1 - Inboard engines mode

2 - Outboard engines mode

3 - Toggle inboard engines

4 - Toggle outboard engines

0 - Cargo bay

When switching engine modes, I recommend to run the outboard engines in rocket mode first, and wait until one of the center group engines stalls to switch those.

More rudders and large load of fuel. Climb is not steep at all. Between 10-20 degrees pitch off the runway. Acceleration at 20000 pitch between 5-15. Still tweaking. This video was made with this craft. Nice even 100000m orbit but almost out of oxidizer ...

Are you using B9 5.2.4 on 0.25? Have you just updated firesplitter?

I'm not doing anything 'cause I'm waiting fon a new release of B9...

Nope, just a version check on the .dll. Works fine though, as far as I can see, but until we get a recompile, we will have to click it away everytime.
