  1. Hoping this is the correct forum to ask this. Playing KSP with Remote Tech, and for the most part I haven't had any trouble connecting my network about Eve and Duna, but I'm on my second expensive Kerbin-Jool relay and it's making me nuts because I can't see anything wrong. Long story short, here's the present state of my two satellites: Top: Transciever - Jool, in escape trajectory of Jool, connected to Transciever - Kerbin but not connected to network. Bottom: Transciever - Kerbin, in highly elliptical polar orbit of Kerbin, connected to Transciever - Jool and connected to network. I have infinite electricity enabled because I lost patience with my solar panels tracking Valentine so that's not a factor here. What could possibly be wrong here?
  2. @nightingale I am experiencing the same issue. I am unsure what "the active vessel" is supposed to be here. Current network. Note that one of the outer relays is pointed at the Mun and has line of sight.
  3. Sorry about disappearing again. Real life has kind of been a thing lately, so I haven't had a chance to put the Triskelion or KSP in general at the top of my list. The framerate of space near the Triskelion is heartbreaking, and I've kind of lost my interest in giant generation ships. I will be starting a new project in the same universe as the Triskelion, focusing on ultra-light, single-purpose, single-launch vehicles. Hexaflexagon Station will make an appearance as a refueling platform. It may be a while before my first mission report, so bear with me. I will make a new thread about it when I do. As for now, the Triskelion project is closed.
  4. It's fine, I can live with the lag platforms. I'm so tired of all these rendezvous launches. ;>.> I want to get on with it already. I just need to get screenshotting to work again.
  5. After watching the CKC wobble uncomfortably, It was decided that it will not hitch a ride on the Triskelion for Jool. Calbart will bring the CKC over to Hexaflexagon station and standby for further instructions. Screenshots will certainly be available once that is done.
  6. The CKC has docked with the Triskelion and deactivated its torque. The sight of the completed construct is so grand and magnificent that the game refuses to take a screenshot of it. Calbart Kerman, our trusty jet pilot from the second mission, is joining the crew as the pilot of the CKC! One of the CKC's kethane probes was released to open the port for docking with the Triskelion. It will be the Kerbin probe! It's time to set off for Jool!
  7. I give up. It's time to press on with my superlag platforms. I am also making a change to the mission. Ever since the welding mod broke, I've been experimenting with super-efficient science probe designs. I have since gotten orbital science from every body in the kerbolar system, and no longer require the science probes in this mission. The CKC will still be delivered to the Triskelion, but I will not bring science probes. To reiterate: Joolian Fuel Economy/Floating Base on Laythe Part 1: 1. Establish a floating base off the coast of any Laythan island with crew capacity of 3, science tools, a kethane mining/processing plant, and the ability to move across the surface of the ocean. 2. Deliver an amphibious vehicle to Laythe for land exploration. 3. Establish kethane mining operations on Bop and/or Pol. Scan Vall for kethane deposits. Briefly consider trying to land a CKC on Vall and change mind. 4. Transfer from Jool to Eeloo and collect science. 5. Return to Jool and deliver a kerbal to the floating base for permanent residence.
  8. Sorry about the delay, real life got in the way again. It's gonna be slow for a while. I'm still trying to get girka's update to the welding mod to work. If all else fails, I will use my superlag platforms and endure the framerate for the mission's sake. I will not abandon the floating Laythe base.
  9. I wish I was a tenth as good at planning aerobrakes as you are. D: This is beautiful. I am going to study the hell out of those aerobrake/intercept plan images.
  10. .24 came out just as I realized I needed this mod. ;_;
  11. Well...Bop is such a small body. I HAD to try it.
  12. Because I haven't mined the delicious recovery-from-landing-on-other-bodies science yet.
  13. I figured those out on my own. ;>.> I keep not parking probes because I keep wanting to try and recover them, but only one has succeeded so far.
  14. I am definitely not starting over from scratch. I will eventually have to replace the current Triskelion, and apparently to launch the current one costs over 2 million credits. Probably even more to launch your Titan ships. I don't have that much yet. ;>.> Going H.A.M. for my mission and doing it in Career mode! As far as I'm concerned, I already am starting from scratch, due to lack of credits. What I like most is that there are contracts I can take which coincide with the Triskelion's mission.
  15. (Never mind, the welding mod no longer works as of 2.4. I'm going to just try out some of these new contracts while I wait for a fix. Sorry, guys. D: )
