  1. A rendevous/space station would be a good goal, especially if you find a station contract. Just put some solar panels on a FL-T800 with an OKTO on it and you're good! I have a small RCS tug on my space station, but I'm a little far in the tech tree. But make a small refueling space station and then use it to refuel to go to the Mun. It works great, a FL-T400+FL-T200 works great for LKO-Mun transfer burn after refuel. From the FL-T400+FL-T200 you get ~3km/s of delta-v, so you're good to go with that.
  2. As I said before, the surface of Jool and Kerbol is made out of C4 that when something touches it it blows up.
  3. No, no, we aren't humane. If we purposley deform Kerbals for entertainment, we can keep a giant space rock in orbit forever.
  4. No, it will just blow up. When it gets to -250m it will blow up, the 'ground' of Jool is highly explosive.
  5. Yeah, I got it now. I wasn't very sure about how the forums worked when I posted this, but I got it now. I actually made an Apollo-style lander and it works. My main problem was limitation of docking ports, no RCS, and not enough parts in general. But I got it now. Thanks for your help guys!
  6. I wasn't available for pics at the time, I only had my Mediafire link. I'll upload pics in a few hours, maybe even a video if I have time.
  7. An Apollo-style Mun lander. Attempt to get into 80km orbit, then dock CSM onto top of LM and transfer burn to the Mun. When you dock CSM to LM be sure to switch control to the Lander Can. Lander has a FL-T200 clipped inside and outside has a Rockomax 48-7s. Lander has ~2200 m/s of Delta-V, enough to get it to the surface and back to CSM. Has more than enough fuel to get back to Kerbin, vacuum delta-v is 6,393 overall. Craft file is here: Will upload to KerbalX sometime.
  8. Oh, ok. From what I see now is that you want them to deploy up. You just have to invert the controls on them I believe and they pitch up when deployed. I haven't looked into this much, so I can't be sure right now. I'm at school and I'll check when I get home. Never mind, I just saw you got what you wanted.
  9. Cool spaceplane! Can you upload the .craft for it? Also if you like the old Mk1 Inline Cockpit, I can upload the old 0.90 file to the forums. I personally think it would look great on the smaller (second) spaceplane.
  10. You can turn the Elevons off in the Tweakable menu for them. Just disable Yaw, Pitch, and Roll.
  11. What I would do is make a tech tree with 3 paths - Mk2/Mk3, SSTOs, and Science. Do something like the Mk2 SSTOs needing the Mk2 parts, and Mk3 SSTO needing Mk3 normal. The SSTO path might have LFO tanks and LFEs. I want to do this too, but a custom tech tree like what I described, and the VAB+launchpad blocked. There is a tech tree editor on the forums somewhere, and it works pretty good.
  12. So cool! I love this, very interesting to see what I can't do! I should try this sometime, but I don't have very much time to play.
  13. It says something about a main error with the Mark1 Cockpit when I try to import my .craft file, i can send the .craft if you can send the .blend to me. Here's the link to my craft (KSP 1.0) http://www./download/45ac49akhapwvpp/C7+Highliner.craft My email is [REDACTED], you can email me the .craft. It would help if you can PM me your email so I can expect the email from you. Thanks, legoclone09 - - - Updated - - - That's my problem, sorry for posting two things in a row.
  14. What I do is I take the Mk1 at top, put two radial chutes on the sides and one Mk16 chute on the top, put the inline cockpit on, decoupler, two FL-T200s or a FL-T400, an LV-T30, four radial decouplers, four RT-10 SRBs, and four Aerdynamic nosecones on top. Gets to about a 90km Ap burning straight up, 100% throttle on everything.
  15. Hello, I'm a KSP player that has been playing since 2013, but with the new aerodynamics I just can't seem to get to the Mun. I'm at Tier 4 progression, and I have all there and none after. Anyone got any tips to help me out?
