I am thinking of bumping up the fun and do a real time mun run. has anyone done it? does it take around 4 days like the Apollo missions? Also I want a super reliable and efficient mun lander. can you guys post pics of your best mun lander?

I have a contract for an orbital station around kerban and 2 contracts to place satellite orbit of kerbin. OK, piece of cake. so I open my map and see 3 different estimate deviation lines.. How do I know which one is for what?

Cool thanks guys! all makes sense now! i made it safely with 75% fuel left in the tank! contract complete! The only mistake I think I made was I initially built this to never come back home. but with all that fuel left I should have put a decoupler on the CM. I would have to bring the whole station through the atmos LOL.

this is the first time I have built an Orbital Station period. anything I should know before I go? I already tested my Delta and everything. seem to have enough. I am confused on the instructions. It says orbit minmus, then build a station. can I not take the whole station with me or do I have to send other pods to dock to it? also I don't have a check bar for antenna, can generate power, and has docking port. I am using the clampotron. is this correct?

how exactly did you do this with the maneuver controls?

So I got the satellite to Mun to do an orbit contract, and of course I had the wrong rotation. So I decided to see if I can reverse my orbit. I get lined up with the opposing path within reasonable deviation before I reverse my orbit. When I added the maneuver and began my burn, it flipped the rotation for me automatically, and actually took very very little fuel. is the flip maneuver a feature in the game or did I do something? regardless, super helpful.

Wow! This seems way to complicated to save my 4.0 ton ship lol. I am going to revert to vehicle assembly and send out an unmanned probe. Thanks guys!

So I just got to the other orbit line and completed the mission, sooo how do I get back home? I cannot figure it out. and now I am traveling at 8000m/s!!! =O
