  1. That's right. When I'm looking at the tracking view. With the maneuver nodes and orbit paths... I'm often in a situation where I want to see my AP/PE numbers and I want to see the distance to my target and so on... all of the numbers I can see my mousing over the item in question and if i right-click the item it will pin the information up so I don't have to mouse over. That's all great. But I often flip back and forth between this view and the 3rd person view and everytime I return to the tracking screen all of the right-click pinned information is gone. The place where this really gets frustrating is when I am very close to a ship I am going to rendezvous with... because for me when the ships are that close, clicking on them becomes a nightmare of fiddly-ness, ha... Does this question make sense? I'm new to the game so maybe there's a solution that's obvious to this that I missed?
  2. When I'm switching between views using the M command - between the tracking view and the 3rd person view - I find it incredibly annoying that the display of the tracking view resets every time - which means I have to go around right-clicking everything I want to see again. It also hides the navball every time. I would love it if it just remembered the state it was in last time I was there... is there a mod that does this for me?
  3. Yep. That video finally did the trick. Thanks for posting this! The thing that I kept forgetting/not-realizing is that Target/Orbit mode have differnet prograde/retrograde markers. Ha... that really explains some frustrating attempts!
  4. So, I'm new to the game. Picked up a "Rescue a Kerbal in Orbit Around the Moon" contract. Flew to where he was, got close, switched to the Kerbal to be rescued, EVA'd him to my ship where I have an empty 4-kerbal passenger module. I was able to get the to-be-rescued Kerbal to grab onto my ship but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get him to board it. I never get the "B to board" message. (Nor, does pressing it work.) I can only grab onto the ship and let go. I've transferred my pilot out of the command capsule and into the passenger module in the hopes that the needs-to-be-rescued-Kerbal could board the capsule but that doesn't work either. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? And/or how to get this guy in the ship? Just to be clear: there are a lot of questions in the forum about how to take control of the Kerbal where the answer is use: use the the bracket hotkeys. Just wanted to be clear that this is not my issue. i can take control of him just fine using the brackets. I still can't get him to do anything but grab hold of the ship.
