Solar Winds Will Change, A Modded KSP Story

It was the early days of the Dagava Space Program. Even though very little had been actually done, the Dagava Military already had permission to construct space weaponry, with the DSP to supply space tech. The DSP were against this, but they had already been forced into the construction of a large SSTO so they could construct a military station.

The first craft of the DSP, DSP-LA1-1:

The name meant Dagava Space Program Lower Atmosphere mk1 craft 1

After a sucessful flight and science operation,

Touchdown! occurred perfectly.

Shortly after, the DSP-LA2-1 was built to fly retrograde over the mountains.

due to the speed and height, the craft class was renamed DSP-HA1-1 midway though flight

But this mission ended with the death of Enlo Kerman, the pilot, after the science chute failed to deploy and the pod broke it's chute by spinning. This resulted in the development of unkerballed craft and revision of safety regulations.

End of Chapter 1: Lone Kerbals

Beginning of Chapter 2: Unkerballed Competition
