  1. I tried to use this at the start of my latest career, but had to remove it as I'm very spaceplane intensive on this career, and if you go even just a tiny bit off the runway, it turns out the "land" is just color, and your plane is actually in water and breaks up. Is there any possibility that you can fix this?
  2. @Crzyrndm I've been helping test RSS/RO on 1.1.2 Using the latest fork of this as linked above, I'm seeing two problems: about half the time in the VAB, the option to press J and configure the wings doesn't appear. Leaving the VAB scene and coming back will usually, but not always, fix this. Also, and perhaps more importantly, it's doing something very wonky with mass. As a test case, I made a sample vessel, nothing more than a probe core and 4 unmodified pwings. Vessel mass as shown by mechjeb was 2.656t in the VAB, but then on the pad it shows 4.570t. This was easily reproducible, only happened to vessels with pwings on them, and the difference in vab and pad mass scaled based on how large the wings were.
  3. Can anyone download this? I've been trying the link in the OP, and it either fails, times out, or claims to download, but leaves me with a zip that won't open.
  4. This is KSP, we need to think BIGGER. Forget the stupid arms, put the center of mass of the swing in synchronous orbit, make it long enough to come within a good leap of the surface, then you can hop on at the bottom of the swing, and hop off in high retrograde orbit. I don't think it's possible on the Mun or Minmus, but Eeloo has a synchronous orbit around 680km up. Surely we can make a truss 1,360km long and get it out there...
  5. Hello all, I started playing KSP a few weeks ago, and after a few runs in the demo moved to career mode in the full version. So far I've managed to land and return from the Mun, Minmus, and Duna. I stranded poor Bill Kerman on Eve, so my current goal is to do a rescue for him. I've been doing an in-character writeup of my adventures here. Feel free to drop by and enjoy the story.
