  1. How did you find a glass end cap that is explosion proof? Also, are we talking class 1 div 1?
  2. You guys should get in touch with Google so they know to re-index the forums so they aren't giving stale search results.
  3. Everybody hates change, that's never going to change. Have a positive attitude and give it a chance!
  4. The biggest thing I will miss from the old forums is the ability to view the forums without logging in or even registering if I didn't want to. Now that registration is required, I don't think Google search is going to work on the forums, which I used quite a bit...
  5. I still haven't completed a single survey, and I honestly think let's just remove them. Haha...
  6. I think we need to start the rocket bay with 2 parts only. You can only accept 1 contract that gives you 1% yield for a rocket bay upgrade. Then you get 3 parts. After that, you can upgrade contracts so you can get 2% yield for a rocket bay upgrade. And what's with maneuver nodes? They are cheating, let's remove them while we're at it. Also we need more satellite missions, for I think they are lacking representation.
  7. I started out career hard mode, and couldn't do it. I switched to medium and I've already unlocked unlimited missions, unlocked unlimited parts in the rocket bay, launched a ton of satellites, and have maneuver nodes unlocked. All this on vanilla, no mods. I think you guys who are complaining that it's too hard don't realize that career mode is an actual game mode. If you don't like it, go to sandbox mode. Thank you for your time.
  8. That's right. I would be happy even if it was capped so a single Kerbal couldn't get level 5 on all three classes. Maybe make the main class capable of going up to lvl 5 and the off classes max out at lvl 3 or even 2. Or no cap. I'd be fine either way. I just feel that if I'm piloting a craft with a scientist, he should eventually learn how to do SAS and hold basic maneuver positions. And vice versa for the other classes.
  9. Hello, I have been playing KSP pretty heavily since .25 was released. I am really loving the new update, but I do have a suggestion I think would improve the game quite a bit. I want to be able to choose how my Kerbals progress through the classes. I want them to all start with no experience in any class (or randomly start with some experience in one or more classes). I want them to gain experience in the classes that they are used for. So if I use Bill to pilot my ships, Bill gains experience as a pilot. If I also use Bill to perform science experiments, Bill gains experience as a scientist. And if I also decide to use Bill to repair a ship, he also will gain experience as an engineer. Same goes with any Kerbal. So if I want Bill to be a jack of all trades, he can be that. If I want Jeb to specialize just as a pilot, he can do that. Etc. I feel this would add more depth to the classes, and especially with career mode, it won't hurt the player early on.
