  1. {IGNORE PLS} Awesome mod, but I've got a problem with it. I'm a nub@life, so do forgive me.. but whenever I load up ksp the game stops responding, but sometimes at different stages. Sometimes, when I am resuming my saved game, it will just hang with the loading sign at the bottom right. Sometimes, I will see the KSC, then it will stop responding. A few times, I managed to knock a simple explorer plane together, but when I click launch, instead of giving me a list of sites to choose from, it launches automatically (I see the game loading a runway)... and then it becomes unresponsive. You didn't promise anything for Win64, but I'm running the game on OSX 10.9.3 Mavericks. The stock game crashes from time to time (not often), but I can't get anything with Kerbinside. I did the All In One package. xDD I love this mod's idea and where this is headed, though. Gud job to everyone developing this!! :DD {LOL!!} Sorry! I'm absolutely terribru@life. I just clean installed KSP, and then clean installed the mod, and it works. Well, it's working... for now. I'm so dumb. Thanks all!!
  2. Every ounce of weight is going to affect the amount of fuel you carry to lift it, and the amount of fuel to lift the fuel, and to lift that fuel, etc. etc. so by tuning down how much is in the last few stages and then refining the Kerbin ascent stages you can make your design much more efficient. You probably know this already, but just a heads-up, and follow the suggestions above, I guess. Gud luck
  3. Thanks for all your replies guys! Didn't realize it's now liquidfuel only xD Side question(s): Because a turbojet/nuclear is so inefficient at getting into orbit, what do you guys suggest in it's place? What setup would you use to get to Mun? Mimmus? Other planetary systems? Obviously I see that as distance goes up, the importance / positive aspects of using a LV-N increase exponentially. Thanks once again!
  4. Hi guys! I've recently started playing again (since 0.90 Beta); I stopped for a while from version 0.24 because of life. Now, when I check out some videos on Youtube I find that many people are now using the LV-N engine on their crafts, even though a) it's pretty damn heavy thrust isn't high therefore c) low TWR. The only positive I can think of is the high efficiency, but otherwise, why are many people using LV-N's on their spacecrafts? (Apologies for the noob question!) P.S. I find that the KSP community has the absolute best community ever!! Thanks guys! ~Messy
  5. I use rapiers on my lander module... because I can
  6. Hi guys, it looks like my thread got through! Well in that time I've got a massive ship into orbit (I still have 3 stages + lander) and my current stage is at 25% fuel with that engine (I think it's from Kerbodyne (is that how you spell it?) and it's the rocket with the Extra-Large attachment node single nozzle 2.5k thrust) so yeah... i think I'll have enough for Mun. Haha I built it massively and I've got 3 crew in my Command Pod 1-2... I'll let you guys know how it goes! Oh here's a few screenies btw:
  7. So my other thread kind of disappeared (I posted a few days ago, it said they would approve it in a few, but the approval never came so I'm posting a new one). So hey guys, I'm MessyMix and I just got Kerbal a few days ago. I got into orbit easy peasy (but the wiki helped a lot) but when trying to get to mun (i tried the Kerbal X) I kind of ran out of fuel while slowing at 5k meters from the surface... Poor Jeb blew up Oh wait... It says "Posting Permissions: You may post new threads You may post replies You may not post attachments You may edit your posts" Waht!?!? Let's see if this goes through... Hopefully it will
