  1. Hi! The issue is, as described in the title, that I cannot complete certain contracts (Altitude ones, generally). I started having this problem when I installed some mods (30 according to CKAN). KSP Version: .90 32bit Mod List: -Chatterer -CIT - CITUtil -CIT - Kerbal EVA Resource Transfer -Community Resource Pack -Contract Configurator -Contract Window + -DMagic Orbital Science -Docking Port Alignment Indicator -Final Frontier -Firesplitter Core -Karbonite -KarbonitePlus -Kerbal Alarm Clock -KER -KW Rocketry -Mechjeb 2 -Mission Controller 2 -Mod Oriented Tech Tree (Unmanned) -Module Manger -Procedural Fairings -Regolith -SCANsat -SienceAlert -Stock Bug Fix Modules -TechManager -Toolbar -Trajectories -TweakScale -Umbra Space Industriesl Tools -Universal Storage And here's a pic-example: http://imgur.com/GxLl1Mj Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi! I've been playing KSP for a (very) little while now, and decided to go full thrust on the modding of it (I like modding stuff, don't judge me ). So, the main question in this topic is related to Tech Tree mods: I think that the stock tech tree won't be enough for the mods I'm adding, so I considered adding a mod for it, but I can't decide between ADIOS Tech Tree and the Community Tech Tree. This is the list of mods I currently have, and also some of the big ones I'm considering adding in the near future: Chatterer Docking Port Alignment Indicator Final Frontier Kerbal Alarm Clock Kerbal Engineer Redux KW Rocketry Mechjeb 2 Mission Controller 2 Procedural Fairings ScienceAlert Toolbar Trajectories TweakScale And -to add-: Kethane ¿KAS? TAC-LS B9 Aerospace MKS/OKS KSC++ Near Future Technologies So, what would you choose? ADIOS or CTT? Also, other questions: Is that list too much? Are those mods all compatible with each other? Are there other mods you would recommend? Thanks in advance! (Please do tell me if the thread title is too vague and I'll change it! ) EDIT: I think this belongs in the modding subforum. Sadly, I realized that moments after posting . Could a mod please move it?
  3. Thanks a lot for all the replies! I usually look for answers already available in the forums before asking but I've somehow managed to completely miss the "tutorials" sub forum. Thanks for all the links too, Jeb will now be saved!
  4. Hi! I'm very new to the game, only had it for a couple of days, and I'm experiencing some troubles regarding fuel. I've attained some stable orbits around Kerbin and even reached -as in "crashed into"- the Mun (before knowing about maneuver nodes.. yeah, was fun but 2/10 would never again). But I never end up with enough to burn in retrograde. I also do not know how to ¿rescue? (I don't know the term for that, sorry) my kerbals, so they're currently lost in orbit! So are are there any tips I should know about this? Maybe a tutorial that'll teach me how to be efficient enough? Please, halp. If you won't do it for me, do it for the kerbals!
  5. Thanks for the replies! I guess I'll add Kerbal Engineer and DPAI, maybe that other alarm mod (since I've already touched down on Mun) and that'll be it. At least until I start meddling with interplanetary affairs.
  6. Hi everyone! I'm new to.. everything actually: KSP, the forums and even physics (not entirely new, obviously, but still learning some basics ) I'm playing mainly vanilla career mode as I've read it's better to start simple, and though I plan to eventually add mods, I just don't know when to start doing so (as in "how much should I play vanilla before I start adding those"). What do you recommend? Sorry for the confusing grammar/sentence structure or bad english overall; it's just not my native language.
