  1. I got my issue fixed. Seems as though I was missing a DirectX update. Realized it when I tried playing another game, and it said I needed to update directx. Got it updated, now KSP works.
  2. Here are the files. https://www./folder/mpej89mn4dvmq66,cfc01pnveafg08a/shared
  3. Where can I go to make a link for it so I don't create a wall of text here?
  4. I recently reformatted my computer, and I haven't been able to play KSP since. I click "Play" on steam, and I end up getting an error that says: The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2015-04-02_162840" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game! I don't know how to send the file to the developer, it gives no instructions. The only thing I can find while looking through the folder is crash.dmp, error, output_log, report files. I open up the report file and I see [unityCrashHandler] AppName=Unity Player Info=Unity 4.5.5f1_7684ad0c5a44 FilesPath=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\2015-04-02_162840\ File01=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\2015-04-02_162840\error.log|Error log Time=2015-04-02_162842 File02=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\2015-04-02_162840\crash.dmp|Error dump File03=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\KSP_Data\output_log.txt|Output log file I have uninstalled/re-installed KSP, and unity player, but I still have the problem. If anyone might know a fix, that would be of great help.
  5. Unless 1.0 is this fix. Other than the memory leak, the game runs somewhat smooth most of the time. It starts getting choppy if you have a craft that has a lot of pieces, but over all this is a fairly good game. This is a pretty big problem with the game, I wouldn't be surprised that when they fix it, it gets released as 1.0 along with a few other changes.
  6. So I guess this memory leak explains why my computer is always bogged down for a little while after I close KSP.
  7. It could have happened due to one of the mods you installed after B9. I was running into that same problem, but I removed a couple of mods from my list. Then reset my gamedata, and re-installed the mods I knew worked including the B9. The problem stopped for me. I have been slowly adding more mods from the ones I had downloaded. I'm down to 3 mods that could have been the culprit, unfortunately none of these mods are in your list. One thing these 3 mods all have in common with B9 how ever, is ModuleManager.2.5.6.dll. So I'm willing to bet that your problem has something to do with another mod that came with that file.
  8. Ya, I think they are the B9 spotlights.
  9. So, I had just gotten my first piece to my space station up into orbit. I extend the solar panels, and then turn on the lights because I was on the dark side of the planet. Not only did the lights light up my craft, it also lit up the planet.
  10. Here is mine that I have been working on over the past couple of days. The only issue I'm having with it right now is thrust. With the craft empty it can fly, but runs out of fuel before it can finish the orbit burn. Once I load things into it so it has RSC, and power, it seems to not want to leave the ground. I'll figure it out though, each time I've had an idea, it's gotten better.
  11. I downloaded these mods, and a few others that were listed on the post these were in. Enjoying the game a lot more now, and have made some (imo) awesome planes. Now though, I'm looking for some more realism. A friend told me that the engines in the game aren't very realistic, as in the thrust of the engines are weaker than they would be in the real world. Was also told there is a mod to fix that, but my friend couldn't remember the name. While looking around, trying to find this mod I came across something that seemed interesting. What is this FAR, and NEAR thing that I'm seeing here and there that makes the physics more realistic. I read that FAR is more of a challenge? Well, I quickly got over the challenge of building my first plane in stock. I didn't build any small plane either, but a fairly large one. Have only been playing KSP for about a week now, and the game seems pretty easy to get around. Would like something that is more realistic, and maybe more challenging.
  12. I really appreciate all the tips/advice. Thanks =D
  13. I just recently got into KSP, and I have watched a ton of videos on youtube. Today I was finally able to play with out my computer crashing (got a new PCU), and now I'm looking to get some mods. I'm wondering if y'all can give me some advice/ideas on what mods to get. I already downloaded B9 Aerospace Mechjeb KW rocketry One thing I'm really interested in doing, is building like this guy does here . Was hoping someone knew what mod he was using to be able to do that, or if there is an option already in KSP that allows you to do that.
