  1. Thanks Squad, for making one of the finest games I've ever played. You have my sincere gratitude. The REAL most interesting man in the world (Jeb) raises his drink!
  2. When you start to admire the engineering prowess it took to balance the center of mass in objects/machines that you previously took for granted. (Which is actually kind of cool, the more I think about it)
  3. First things first, I'm going to load up all of my planes, and laugh at how horribly they probably fly now. Then, I'm starting over, just keeping Kerbal engineer and alarm clock. I'll probably test out new aerodynamics a bit, and then start a new science game. There is something about Stock/near Stock KSP that just feels "right" to me, even if mods are a ton of fun.
  4. Hello wonderful people! I hereby issue you a challenge, should you choose to accept it, to land an aircraft on the runway at the KSC completely blind! To do this, you must construct an aircraft (or modify a stock one) which has some sort of object obstructing your view from the cockpit, and then perform the landing completely IVA. Some sort of HUD or other instrument mod is strongly recommended. No automation of any sort is allowed, you must control your aircraft manually. A marker or probe of some sort should be left on the runway, so that you have something to target. (This challenge is basically impossible without doing so.) You may not break any parts, and your craft must land on the actual runway, it can not roll off/bounce off. Rules: No Auto pilot of any type, you must manually control your aircraft. Your IVA must be completely obstructed, and the entire landing must be performed while in IVA. You may not break any parts, and your craft's final position must be on the runway. Difficulty levels: Level 1: Fly the aircraft in 3rd person until 2.5 Kilometers out on final approach. From the 2.5K mark, you must use IVA, blind. Level 2: Fly the whole flight IVA, without being able to see. Jeb's level: Fly the whole flight IVA, blind, without SAS, and without any Heads up Display. Here is a video demostration: Good luck, and happy landings!
  5. There we go! Sorry, I apparently screwed up the first time, I thought I had some pics included...
  6. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to present the Batwing. Long story short, I saw a model of this particular aircraft at a friend's, and thought it would be cool to make it in KSP. Its a really fun aircraft to fly, and I hope everyone enjoys it! Also, here's a video of it, if you care: Requires KW rocketry and BD armory. Action group 1 toggles the machine guns on and off. Here's the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbemyc5vpqun9wz/Batwing.craft?dl=0
