  1. Space Orks are brutish, nasty warmongers. Kerbals are scientific, peaceful and curious. Space Orks slap their space hulks together out of wood and banded iron. Kerbals have a much higher level of engineering prowess (even if it is a bit nuts sometimes). They may both be speed-freaks, but Kerbals don't have a preoccupation with "red wunz" supposedly going faster. Sorry, Kerbals are not Orks.
  2. Kvasir PCRM (Platform Command and Resupply Module) Mk II is up and running -
  3. Kvasir LRMP Mk II on a shakedown mission (Bartcas used for scale) -
  4. I personally have no need for any if the stock craft, even as examples. All they do is clutter up my craft loading window. I also think it's better for new KSP players to start with a completely blank slate. It will make what they do come up with eventually more original and gratifying. If they do happen to need some good starter designs, the forums remain an excellent resource for that. For those reasons, I always go into the Squad folder and remove the stock .craft files from any new KSP install I use.
  5. So uh, is ... 31 old? As far as the KSP community goes? If not, then I'm 31, hah.
  6. You should request a move to the Rocket Builders forum and begin your company in earnest. "Bahamuto Dynamics" has a nice ring to it. Your work is very solid.

  8. I began reformulating my lander design -
  9. I truly admire the organic design process at work here!
  10. from my personal experience : 0.21 runs "good enough" on my iMac - 2.8 GHz Quad Core i7-2600S Sandy Bridge 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512MB OS X 10.6.8 0.21 runs great on my PC - 3.4 GHz Quad Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 8 GB 1800 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB Win 7 Home Premium SP1 x64 I don't think the CPU or the RAM on either is making the difference. Beyond that, I'm not sure. The GPU on the PC is massively faster than the iMac GPU. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the Windows version of Unity did run a bit quicker on the same hardware compared to the OS X version.
  11. What I mean to say is - events like Fukushima and Chernobyl before it make nuclear power look bad, but managed properly, it's reasonably safe, and most importantly, one of the most potent sources of energy production we have that can meet rising demands without ruining our planet on the quick. I'll take having to stow away nuclear waste in salt mines over spewing more carbons into the atmosphere any day.
  12. Universe Replacer is one of the cooler mods to come along in a long while. I love finally having clouds (at least from orbit).
  13. Nuclear power is usually one of the cleanest power sources available - unless you build a plant in a friggin' tsunami zone.
  14. It looks like Combine technology - creepy..
  15. I finally got around to releasing SSL Bot Pack II.
  16. Your craft are damn nice looking for stock parts. Very clean. I made a Salyut as well a little while back, just for fun, I call it the "Kalyut" - Docked with "Koyuz" -
  17. Exploring the Dunan highlands with Ladybug KRV-IVb - 5483m above datum Now available as part of SSL Bot Pack II.
