I'm just depressed about Star Wars now. If George Lucas didn't kill it completely with the prequels, Disney will almost certainly finish the job.

I'm actually waiting for the frantic pace of alpha/beta development to slow down before I really get back into KSP.
The result of my play is usually .craft files I want to release publicly, but that was difficult in the past when a major new update would come along every two months or so breaking everything old and changing things up.
Once official development really slows down, only then can I see myself diving back in.

The power of the GTX 960 is quite bad for its price (at least here in germany), you could get almost a R9 290 for that money which is way more powerfull.
An i5 is allways enough for gaming if you dont need the extra lanes of a X99 chipset.
Agreed - The R9 290 is a sweet spot for price to performance right now.

The PC I built in 2012 has Core i5 3570K and a Radeon HD 7950 and I still max out most games at 1080p.

Post the War Thunder service record of your nation and battle type of choice! You can find yours under your player profile in War Thunder. Sorted by amount of battles per vehicle is helpful!

I would not recommend War Thunder simply because it's grindy, pay to win and if you want to get anywhere you will have to fly/drive Russian stuff because game favors soviet equipment.
I have a few f2p games, mostly mmo`s like Firefall, Defiance and EverQuest II - lots of fun.
I've been having a lot of fun with German armor in WT. I agree that the game noticably favors Russian armor, but it's nothing that sufficient skill and tactical prowess can't overcome.
It's all the more fun to outplay the tough Russian tanks with my "inferior" Panzers. It kind of mirrors real tank action in WWII, when German tank crews often came up against Russian heavies with comparatively lightly armored Pz. IIIs and IVs and had to use their skill and experience to come out on top.

Oh and as far as the OP, I would recommend War Thunder and Path of Exile too.

A simulation mode (like WT now has). This nancy-pants arcade gameplay doesn't interest a vast swathe of gamers.

I have some questions about cities skylines.
Is there a demo available?
Are the Paradox forums broken? I'm getting 404 errors.
What is difference between standard and deluxe?
No demo yet. The only difference with Deluxe is a few extra landmark buildings and a soundtrack, not worth it imo.

Right now, the R9 270X is such an amazing value for the money - it's just about as powerful as the Radeon HD 7950 I paid $300 for in 2012, at half the price.
