  1. Nah, I don't think I need so much storage... And there isn't much space in my basement. Yeah, a toggleable hopper timer and instead of a hopper area maybe a hopper minecart going round the area. I think I'll make the mob farm look like a floating island!
  2. Okay, I'm going to build a smelter prototype in creative and if it works, I'm going to make one in Paradise. To your questions: 1. I've just made a cow stack and finished my house. Now I'm helping in Paradise station construction. 2. I think I have all that I need. Highly efficient automatic farms, a sliding piston door, storage silo (that I'm going to revise soon), hidden crafting bench and hidden armory are enough I think 3. I use Discord all the time when I'm on my gaming machine! Now I want to ask you a question: would you like to make a collab project? I'm thinking of a mob farm like Mumbo Jumbo's, but maybe half the size. I'm a good architect, so I can build the frame and some of the redstone wiring, while you can make the collection chamber and trigger clock. Btw, if you want you can take a look at my house's interior!
  3. I agree that Dfthu's tower should be moved, but I like having Monkey's tower in Sanctuary. In the end its not that tall, right? I also want to start constructing my own tower someday, I won't make it too tall, maybe 100/120 blocks. Though I will fill it with redstone contraptions. Now another question: will a supersmelter in Paradise eat the bandwidth too much? I'll try to make it toggle able, so its only on when you need it.
  4. This mod looks really cool! I'm definitely going to try it out sometime. And this is the first time I'm first! Yay
  5. Yeah, some of the farms are quite useless. (I'm looking at you, wheat farm surrounded by doors in the middle of Sanctuary market square!) But please, please, can I keep my fully automatic sugarcane and pumpkin farms? They're too awesome and efficient for me to take them down! Edit: Do you think my cow stack is also useless? It is half-automated, saving you time killing cows by hand!
  6. One more reason to build Sparky a statue! I might be able to donate up to 10$, I really hope I can. For now, good luck Sparky!
  7. That Ghast thing is weird... @SparkyFox and @AlmostNASA, did you have a texture pack when you saw that creepy thing? Sparky saw a zombie that looked like Herobrine once, so this is the second time this is happening... If this happens a third time, we'll have to take precautions. I'm thinking about building an Anti-Herobrine defence station where we can document the different times we saw him. But as long as this bug/feature/whatever doesn't destroy things, we don't have to worry about anything. EDIT: Regarding the bug tracker, from what I understand, bug reports on the bug tracker can be deleted. This might also be a very bad joke by Mojang.
  8. I'm really happy with my current piston house. Not only does it look nice, but I also filled it with redstone contraptions, especially the basement. But my house isn't enough for big projects like building a slime vehicle or supersmelter. That's why I would like something like a Bat-Cave, with a giant piston hangar door that opens towards Sanctuary. I would use it for mass resource storage and processing aswell as building flying machines that I would then launch out of the massive hangar door like a Bad$ mad scientist
  9. I went mining and got 3 stacks of iron, 35 gold and 31 diamonds. I'm going to use these resources for something good and build a public supersmelter at Paradise City once I finish my house. That should greatly improve our building efficiency, allowing Paradise City construction to be faster than ever!
  10. Yeah, this mod is really cool! I would love to have it in my career save, but I already have enough parts and I have a self-imposed 50 mods limit. I'm glad you featured it!
  11. Actually, I noticed that I did a very VERY stupid mistake... mind you, the junction works fine, it has to do with the mine cart track inversion. I could've simply inverted the junction systems for a left side track If you guys want, I can re-make the junction and remove my track inverter. Though that would take another afternoon and a lot of anger since there's a lake where the redstone goes...
  12. Actually, I have no idea what the southeast rule is... Edit: Good news, I finished the junction! I did find a bug in the system, but I fixed it. Now we have a fully-functional grand junction! As a side note, I had to invert the minecart railway, since a left way track would make a junction harder to do. I did it by crossing the two tracks, so I didn't touch the redstone under paradise station. Just keep in mind the the minecart track to the east desert is now a right side one.
  13. Thanks for the redstone offering! I don't think I'll need as much of that stuff as @transitbiker has, though I won't have to ever go mining again if I'll have 75 stacks of redstone On the junction side of things, I made a working prototype in creative. The redstone is really simple, but I have to elevate the track that goes back from east desert. Basically how it works is the track remains in an idle position. If you press the right button, the track doesn't switch and you travel in one direction. If you press the left button, the track switches and you go in the other direction. The track then auto-resets for the next player. And I implemented this system on all 3 tracks I'll build it today, though I only have a stack of iron left... it should be enough, I think.
  14. I agree that we should leave part of the Mesa untouched. They do look really cool! To your 2nd point, I actually want to build the Transit Junction myself since I'm getting into this redstone engineering stuff and I want to use my new skills for something useful. (as cool as hidden crafting areas are, their only use is being cool as cryogenic fuel)
  15. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of. The redstone itself probably isn't as complicated as the rail systems, I have no idea how I should make those tracks cross each other... But I'll figure it out!
  16. @transitbiker did an amazing job on the east desert line! I visited it today, it still needs lots of work, but the hard part is over! Now, the current Transit junction is quite rudimentary and doesn't really work, so I want to make it actually functional. My idea is that the mine cart will stop at the junction and you can either press the right button to go to the desert, or the left one to go to the tree farm. The same applies to tree farm-desert/Paradise. It will require quite a bit of redstone, though it'll work a lot better than the current system, trust me! Edit: Transitbiker mentioned building a foundry at paradise station. I think we'll need more than that for our building projects. How about a supersmelter? If you don't know what a supersmelter is, its basically a system which distributes items evenly across 8+ furnaces, resulting in increased efficiency. Again, it requires quite a bit of redstone. But I have both resources and knowledge to make us one!
  17. So, Minecraft 1.1 is finally out! Here's how to update: (The screenshot is by Sparky) Basically go to "edit profile" in the launcher and switch the version to 1.1. Done!
  18. I'm glad you like it I used a 1x2 door because it is simple and I won't have to use the top floor to hide the redstone. Though I might change it to a 2x2, but the kitchen is in the way... And of course the door isn't the only redstone thing in my house! I have already put in a working aquarium, a hidden crafting area in the living room, slime launchers for getting to the top floor and basement and even automatic lighting. And that still isn't everything! I'll put a hidden armory, a bulk storage system with indicator lights and maybe even a supersmelter in the basement.
  19. I have a diamond shovel with efficiency III or more that you can use as long as you repair it and give it to me after use. You can find it in the chest below the cake in my shed.
  20. Guys, it looks like I found a big cave system under the slime farm I was digging... I probably explored 2/3 of it already, though there are still some resources waiting to be mined. You can take all the ores from it as long as you help lighting it up so other mobs won't hinder the slimes from spawning. Here are the coordinates: x: -444 z: 245 These lead to a small hut with a ladder leading to the slime chunk. I think there should be a hole in the ground leading into the cave system.
  21. You can easily get enchanted books from the Ender Ender. I'm just too lazy to spend another hour enchanting books My mob farm's coordinates are: X: -75 Z: 291 Just look for the big ugly cobblestone monolith. You can do whatever you want with it!
  22. Don't worry about my mine, its just temporary! You can cover it up if you want. I got a good amount of lapis if you want any. I'll trade it for an enchanted book with flame or unbreaking! My mob farm is quite reliable, though you'll get a top gunpowder production of 10 per day. That's just awful compared to some others like Mumbo Jumbo's farm. I could build one like Mumbo jumbo did, maybe even add a starting mechanism to the hopper clock. But I would need tons of resources and time, and I want to build a new house and a statue for Sparky. Edit: The good thing about Mumbo Jumbo's farm is that it doesn't have to be always on. It can produce more drops in 5 minutes than my mob farm produces in 5 days!
  23. Does it not work due to the time? And I really like the glass shop, its a brilliant piece of redstone engineering! I already traded 2 stacks of redstone. You're probably wondering why I'm not playing right now, right? Well, the first lesson at my school got cancelled, meaning I have to spend 40 minutes doing something. I decided to go to a school computer.
  24. I'll start playing at about 5pm UTC. You're on the West Coast, that means it'll be about 9am for you. Will that work for you? There's a problem with the Elytra... There's only one per end city, though I won't mind exploring further with you and sharing the found treasure. I have tons of potions, but only a stack of chicken. How about I'll take the potions and you the food? Edit: What stuff do you have? I got a diamond chestplate and helmet out of a yard sale (don't ask why it was in a yard sale ) and an amazing bow with infinity and power III, wich is deadly combined with my archery skills, but my diamond sword only has sharpness III and knockback II.
  25. I'll go on an adventure in the End today. I want to explore the outer islands and find an Elytra and possibly some treasure. Does anyone need some Chorus flower/plant/whatever?
