  1. latest WIP, an attempt at an interplanetary cruiser. "The Green Lobster"
  2. Only the cupola module from my WIP-station (see above) from the front made a nice wallpaper
  3. Work in progress, my first "proper" space station, just started this one and hacked it into orbit to see how the lighting looks.
  4. well done .... 4 hours later still no issues noticed -edit- and 15 minutes later Guess this is SVT, not sure though At reentry the water color flips over from brightish blue, to greyish if i changed the viewing angle. more greyish more blue
  5. I don't know if it's ever been asked, but if it is my excuse is not reading 136 pages But could KER main panel be made "inverse" with the panels. Normally the panels appear at the bottom of the control bar, but could you make a checkbox so that they appear above the control bar, like in the mockup screenshot. Then the control bar can stay there while i disable panels to get better view.
  6. Just installed it on linux. No more stripes in main menu. No stripes in the tracking centre. No stripes in map view. \o/
  7. HI, don't know if this already known but i found something weird using ksp 1.2 on linux with PM 2.2-pre. The text with the "flags" in map screen don't update while the mouse is over the PM window and you adjust the node. This is a bit vague so let me explain a bit. Let's say ship is in orbit, you want to raise the Pe so you make a maneuver node on the Ap. You give some prograde vector. Then you click with right mouse on the "resulting Pe" flag on the orbit line so the text stays on screen. If you adjust the maneuver node from the "gizmo" on the orbit line, then that text with the resulting Pe gets updated right away. But if you adjust that node using the Precise Maneuver window, then the text does not update until you move the mouse cursor out of the PM window. This also happens with the An & Dn.
  8. Checked and double checked, and in the HR version the filenames are correct.
  9. Tried but problem still exists, extracted this file and filenames were still all lower, i.e. ghost1.png, ghost2.png, instead of Ghost1.png I think problem is that scatterer.dll references those files with the starting capital (i peeked inside the dll and files were named Ghost1.png, so .. ) So only solution is to rename those files
  10. made a named save at time of first screenshot, just reloaded that and now everything is normal. no luck.
  11. first time i encounter this weird visual glitch, guess it was some sort of projection of the sun which was right behind it grew when i came closer to kerbin
  12. Had that too in .1500 linux last night, also did a restart of the game which didn't solve it. ship was in kerbin orbit so i did F5 and sent the ship anyway, guestimated the intercept point. After timewarp when the ship came in Mun SOI the intercept trajectories appeared. Next ship i sent to the mun in the same session didn't have the problem and the intercept appeared as expected when setting the maneuver point. no idea how to replicate this behavior.
  13. played for about 2 hours yesterday, started a new career on a clean install on linux, no issues so far, great job! have 1 question though, did a quick search but couldn't find the answer, in the tech tree i saw parts with a different background color, what are those? never noticed them in 1.1.3
  14. that is "solvable" in game .... tried another thing right now which also solved it, don't know the implications. saw that all config files started with @KOPERNICUS:AFTER[KOPERNICUS] except the sun's one, that started with @KOPERNICUS:FOR[KOPERNICUS] changing that one to AFTER as well fixed the problem too -edit- in this version the useOnDemand was back in
  15. **need confirmation** I run linux and with latest SVT 1.42 i had the moiree planets (striped) in game, not just on the main menu screen. With older version 1.2 i did not have that problem. Compared both versions and after a lot of tinkering with the config files, replacing settings from 1.2 in the 1.42 install, i have normal planets again in game. On the menu it's still striped though. In the end it was removing just 1 line from the sun's config file. i editted "..../GameData/SVEKopernicus/Sun/Sun.cfg" and removed the line useOnDemand = false Can anyone with the same problem try to replicate this, and see if their problem is solved too?
  16. When i install Stock Visual Terrain most of the planets in map mode or tracking station are "striped" (see imgur album) This happened after the latest SVT update, before that only kerbin on the main menu had this, not in game. Anyone know what causes this and have a solution? I run ksp 1.1.3 on linux mint 18 with a 750Ti gfx. http://imgur.com/a/7RMKL excuses in advance if this question has already been asked, couldn't find anything with search.
  17. https://morbotron.com/ Let the kerbal meme come through
  18. won't classify these as awesome, but i do like 'em reentry caught my first eclipse Science lab on it's way to minmus, already got 5000+ science from it
  19. blender is free and has video editting built in, maybe a bit overkill with all the extra functionality but it gets the job done
  20. didn't want to make a separate topic for this, but the new windows 10 update has "some issues", deleted partitions http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/08/windows-10-anniversary-update-delete-partition
