  1. Welp I forgot this forum existed. Oops. Well anyway I don't wanna return empty handed so I did the second challenge on this forum, the Mun and Minmus landing one.
  2. Wow. Well now I feel bad for not participating. Thankfully, I have a week off now so Ill just play some good old KSP. Ill start off with the first challenge posted here, why not. Also, Real Life is OP, someone should tell God to nerf.
  3. Oh I see. Well then It's the admin's choice if you get it or not. And besides, you said it yourself, you had fun while planting fear into any Kerbal unlucky to be close to the airfield
  4. Wait, theres a desert airfield? (oh yeah 1.4 and up I forgot). Also I obviously don't pull any strings here, but from seeing the rules, I don't see why you couldn't get a badge.
  5. basicrun completed: Initial orbit: Laythe-Tylo-Vall-Vall encounter burn: The encounters: Peri-laythe: Peri-tylo: Peri-vall (#1): Peri-vall (the second one, got that one by accident): Obviously there was no other engine or RCS ignition/burn after the first burn (because that's against the rules).
  6. Alright, since I didn't have enough time for the past challenge, I guess I'll do this one. Now, I know I already asked this, but how do you get the badges (I swear to god I don't know what a sig is).
  7. Amazing, but isn't the seat considered a vessel? I mean I know it's nitpicky, but my idea was to let a Kerbal out of the seat, and then launch the seat to it's exploding doom (remember, crashing isn't landing).
  8. Yeah that's pretty much what I thought doing myself (I'll do it tommorrow). Basicaly it would be a 3 seat drop pod launched from an airplane, but with a twist.
  9. Ah I'm gonna be forced to pass this one unfortunetly since I run KSP version 1.3.1, where parachutes weren't added yet.
  10. Oh good! Thanks for having me arround, and I'll try to participate on further challenges. Also, I must ask so I don't have to ask later, how does one, take the badges? (yes I know they aren't done yet, I'm just asking how do you receive them when they do arrive).
  11. And there it is, the SRB challenge complete. The rocket (SRB launcher) is a simple, tad over-powered SRB rocket that launched both Jeb and Val (independently) into space. For docking I used LiquidFuel. I couldn't record a video due to software limitations (damn you 32 bits!), so instead I took 19 screenshots: The rocket: On pad: Liftoff: Thumper seperation: Continuing: Burnout: Hammer ignition: Near space: Insertion: Orbit achieved: Valentina in space (yes I skipped the launch 'cuz it was the same thing): Second insertion: In orbit: After fiddling with orbits, I got a close encounter: Target at 9 km: Target at 5 km: Target at 25 m: Few meters left: Docked: And that's it! Hopefully I didn't break any rules, because I don't want to do this again (it took some time).
  12. Oh ok. So yeah I'll try to come up with a rocket for this challenge (not saying it will work).
  13. Huh. I just now joined this thread, and since not many people have tried the SRB challenge, I guess I'm gonna have to try it. Before I do however, I have Flight Engineer installed; is it allowed?
  14. Well that sucks. I my self own a 32 bit system with 2 GB of RAM and Windows 8.1 Enterprise. You would think that it would run pretty badly on this junk but im actualy getting stable 30 FPS all the time, and now, i have to stay playing on 1.4 or 1.3. But as long this makes the memory usage more optimized and improves the game for the most amount of people, I don't see a problem with this.
