Awesome! Thank you for the reply. That was really bothering me but now I understand.

After successfully returning back to land, I noticed that you can move the mk1 command pod with the wasd controls as if it had small thrusters attached. This is curious since I do not see the monopropellent being reduced, only electricity and the only modules attached are the parachutes.
