[Severe graphical glitches with 1.7 (Solved)]

Ever since updating to 1.7, I’ve experienced some severe problems: from performance issues to massive graphical glitches

Issue

During the flight, I noticed Kerbin’s atmosphere rapidly changing colour and brightness, probably inducing large amounts of lag. This issue gets worse in orbit, with Kerbin’s surface sometimes being hidden by the glitch.

How would I remove restock assets for certain parts, leaving the stock textures? While I like most of the new textures, there are a handful of stock ones that I prefer.

I docked a mk1-3 capsule to my station, and found an old mk1-2 and a big orange fuel tank. I thought the parts were changed - was it just the access to the old parts that was blocked?

Amazing update, but I have an issue where the thumbnails for the top row of parts in each section has the top chopped off in the editor.

Hyperedit and vessel mover seem fine, KER is fine in editor, but is broken in flight, KAS seems fine but KIS is broken, module manager works as far as I've seen, KAC and TWP both don't work, BDa is semi-functional,  mod thumbs are glitched.
