I started orbital assembly of a modified raptor 9 design. Its similar to an eve 4 longship block 4. Im on xbox so i only play the stock game enhanced edition. Version 1.2.2 i guess. New to the game just started playing a month ago. My son and I (aspiring aerospace engineer) will be on our way to Duna tomorrow to conduct my first landing on Duna. This will also be my first landing outside Kerbol SOI. Thanks to community for all the youtube videos and teaching aids that have taught me everything to get me this far. From the kraken to docking and landing. TWR and how to collect science. I've read watched and learned of this game enough to teach my son to dock for the first time. Its been a rough month but this is a wonderful game of exploration and fascination that i hope will ignite the passion inside my son for this as a career. May his enthusiasm be as genuine tomorrow as it was the first time we made orbit. P.s. mobile user apologies for any spelling issues.

Ok so i was able to find a workaround for this glitch. All credit to my son. May want to keep this for future reference. You can not load ships from the VAB in your save file for that game. I.e. career or whichever mode it happens in. The main issue being the "open craft" menu is completely non-responsive. When this glitch happens on pc folks can delete thier ship file. For at least xbox we can not do this without deleting all of our saves. Now to the workaround. I can still load ships on the launch pad and revert to VAB. I van also still save ships in the VAB and load them as saved from the launch pad. This will still cause some issues i think in the future as i can not merge sub asseblies in the VAB without that menu. I hope this helps anyone else who runs across this.

Xbox one Control none? I was flying doing a direct ascension to mun. Ship started acting funny, saved game idk why. Right after game save encountered the amazing tornado glitch. Quit to menu to shutdown game as per usual when i encounter glitches in this game. Reload game, and all saved craft are unselectable. Controls unresponsive in vab once in open craft menu. Tried going to SPH to build a ship and see if it showed in the menu of the vab. Saved it as cc which i also had a command capsule save file (or should have had) with parachutes to start new ships. Game mentioned i was overwriting a save file for one of my saves that i could not see. Hope this helps. Upgraded space plane hanger but i just cant get back into the game now. I have a space station that needed its secknd module and i dont even know how to proceed. Also please fix the glitch with the x button that seems to start after an eva on the mun or min SOI. Fell in love with this game two weeks ago. Now im pretty upset. Bought this game to bond qith my son over the summer as he is an aspiring aero space engineer. Probably going to see how this plays out for a few days and then start the refund route with XBL. I dealt with all the other frustrating glitches but this is over the line and truely game breaking. I have no idea how to build a rocket in SPH and it seems this glitch has been persisting since launch.
