  1. This suggestion uses mostly Making History parts as examples but also applies to vanilla KSP. I'm having a lot of fun with the different color schemes and models for all the tanks, engines, and fairings but can't help but notice just how out of place some parts are when used with certain variants. Some examples would be how shrouds for engines don't have any color options. They can have different sized shrouds or simply be bare. While these options are nice, it can leave a poor aesthetic to the overall rocket and can change the profile of the rocket depending on which shroud you use. Command pods and capsules may have an entirely different paint job compared to everything else on the spacecraft. Shrouds for decouplers have a similar problem in that there are no variants and few tweakables for them at all, and allow only for the same color/design/size of the engine leading to rockets that may end up looking something like this: Standard rocket with shroud on side mounted boosters, central booster, and second stage engine. KV-1 "Onion" with entirely different paint scheme from (most of) the rocket Second stage without shroud gives it a smaller decoupler shroud. Same design and color otherwise. I am aware that parts are being given updated textures, models, and variants and would simply like for parts like these both for Making History and vanilla KSP to be included and given further options for designing and personalizing spacecraft.
