  2. Thanks. I almost reached the north pole of the mun. 70km to go, the terrain gets really difficult up north so i have to reduce speed to 8m/s

The fuel budget is extremely tight! that's why it has a large docking port on top ......you can just dock another spacecraft ontop and drag it into munar orbit OR: just add small fueltanks to the outer stacks The launchvehicle is far from perfect! It will be revised during the week. i put it together in 10mins just to see if i can actually land this rover on the mun in one piece
  8. The first lander design was just to prove the cocept and to test if it is possible to land this thi ng in one piece (as the center of mass of the rover is not equal to the “middle“ of the vehicle.) I will improve the lander during the next week.

  10. can you make a flag similarto this? (Terran Empire flag from star trek) but with the silhouette of kerbin and a sword? background colour red, the sword and planet maybe in black?
  11. even harder would be a fuel truck ....which connects to the plane through a jr. docking clamp to refuel the plane

  14. I was inspired by your design , so I built my own and landed it on the mun: If you need a lander my one way lander is working ...as you can see from the photos

  17. the size of the engine is not the real problem as it is the same engine as the engines used in the second stage (like in the original) the problem is the stage itself .....the diameter is too big but with a smaller diameter i would not be able to carry enough fuel or hide the kerpollo craft I could have used partclipping to stick the outer tanks partly inside the middle tank ......but that would be "cheating"
  18. Oh yeah ...I only used the colours available by default ...but i think about contacting the fairing factory guy and ask him for permission to retexture the parts
