I skydived into the Sun, and then the glitch happened. Will try to redo the challenge; this time hopefully without bugs.

Alright, so, I might have broken something. I decided to use my Minmus land&return ship Hades I [ ...yet the bugger is still happy

I did manage to get this far from the Sun a while ago, but on a wrong type of ship. Time to recreate the flight.

Quick question: how do I rotate objects in VAB like in this picture? When I try to rotate using WASDQE I can only rotate for 90 degrees :|

Jeb\'s favorite type of transportation.

My Kerbals are doing it Kerbal style by riding ...a bomb! The ship consists of two bombs (for symmetry / balance) and just enough fuel to reach 80k apogee Radial decouplers were a wee bit too strong, had to chase down the bomb with the pilot for half of minute. Meanwhile the unmanned command pod is preparing for landing near KSC The parachutes are open, everything going according to the plan. You can see the command pod and the unmanned bomb in the background. Command pod has landed! Mission successful. Survive fall - check Command pod reusable - check Friends joining in - all three rode the same bomb. Vicinity - I landed 15 KM away from KSC

Tried to do it in two attempts: First attempt: Obviously Jeb volunteered for this challenge A problem appears: bomb got stuck between the engines Jeb saves the day by ramming it with his head! Unfortunately Jeb slipped off the ladder at the reentry. He is heartbroken about missed opportunity of riding a bomb. Second attempt: I can see my home Kerbal Space center from here! It\'s showtime! Surprisingly enough, one of the fuselages survived the impact. This time the 'pilot' stayed on the bomb till the very end.

First successful (ish) 1.6 landing on Mun!
