  1. My biggest stupid mistake is going through about 30 minutes of building a space plane only to see it crash without even lifting off the ground! At that point, I rage quit. ;D
  2. That first shot is really cool. How\'d you get the camera shot inside of it?
  3. I\'m aware of this but it wouldn\'t be as fun as building and balancing the shuttle yourself. Besides, if i\'m not mistaken, that is what the Mk3 pod is for. Yeah if I would use the Shift + WASDQE function, i\'m not sure it would work correctly.
  4. I tried recreating something similar to this: When I launch, it starts to lean back because there is naturally less weight on that side. What can I do to balance it out? Also, I use Novapunch to build the actual rocket.
  5. When I tried to leave the Mun with the same little rover, I used the RCS but kinda tipped over. The best way to get off of the lander is what is shown on the picture. Decouple from the main ship then use a little bit of RCS to lift you off from the rest of the rocket then land the rover slowly onto the mun!
  6. I subbed to you. Looking forward to more stuff from you. Some people just use Windows Movie Maker because it comes with a PC (Unless you have a Mac then iMovie). I would say Sony Vegas Pro 10 but it is a lot to pay for and I wouldn\'t really want to promote piracy on an indie game forum.
  7. I don\'t think there are any mods for batteries but here are a two good packs for space stations with solar panels. Kosmos: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7178.0 Probodobodyne DIY Kit: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=6397.0
  8. This has to be Captain Sparklez! You sound so similar to him. Great videos too!
  9. Right here in the Dev Chat with HarvesteR [16:02] <@Capt_Skunky> <markodash> can we get a thick atmosphere monn/planet ahead of the full system release? it would be a change of pace from the normally airless bodies [16:02] <@HarvesteR> oh [16:03] <@HarvesteR> well, yeah, I don\'t think we\'d be able to release the entire solar system in a single update [16:03] <@HarvesteR> because our terrain system still has no support for things like gas giants, or ring systems [16:03] <@HarvesteR> so we\'ll probably start with the rocky planets first [16:04] <@HarvesteR> and yeah, those will have several types of atmosphere [16:04] <@HarvesteR> the venus-like planet would have a thick atmosphere [16:04] <@HarvesteR> the mars-like one would have a very thin one [16:04] <@HarvesteR> should make for some pretty interesting flying there
  10. HarvesteR said they won\'t release the whole solar system at once because the engine can\'t handle gassy planets so they will be making the rocky planets first.
  11. I\'ve been looking for a way to get to Minmus for a while now and most of the time people have some sort of 'Mcgyver' way of accomplishing this but, what formulas and calculations can give me an exact answer on when and where I would need to burn in order to get caught by the gravitational influence of Minmus? Also, any other useful formulas would be nice.
  12. Nope. It\'s the Sun. I\'ve got you, man. It\'s okay.
  13. I was actually talking about Kerbin but, if the Sun is frequently referred to as 'Kerbol,' then I will accept that but I will probably never call it Kerbol and will still refer to it as the sun.
  14. In that case, I can\'t help because Kerbol doesn\'t exist in KSP.
