Well, first I would like to orbit the mun, not just hitting it

Hi, I\'m just discovered KSP and was hooked from the beginning. Orbitting Kerbal is now easily done, but I have trouble hitting the Mun. Both ways happened a lot, but I can\'t nagivate my shuttle to counter it. Any help?
