1. Has anyone realised that SQUAD still need to implement the things that weren't fully finished in 0.17's release. I mean, why didn't anyone say anything about the fact that they didn't end up making Moho 1/2 rock 1/2 lava!? I was actually really looking forward to that. Also I think they will be working on improvements to Jool's atmosphere, Eve's invisible oceans and bugs in map view. They should really also be improving IVA, adding more to it and actually finishing it as most spaceplane CMs don't have controls or windows and the spaceplanes need special, separate controls and feedback from the rocket CMs.
2. The second this update came out with all these new planets I knew they had to throw it a secret asteroid. They've even said it sounded like a cool idea in the suggestions Category when someone said they should make far away planets me blurry or invisible in the map view. I think that the 'Magic Boulder' is orbiting Duna and it has something to do with that line path on the decoded sound image.
3. yea i made this look exactly like my first landing on minmus. it was on a 30 degree slope
4. I was bored in English so I drew this in my book
5. Are those two gray things new larger SAS modules? They might just be in Probodoobythingy mod though... If they ARE new SAS can you show us the new larger RCS modules also?
6. I don't think willitstimothy knows what tidally locked means. But anyway, I'm wondering what effects heat will have on your Kerbals on EVA. Will they get sunburn? Hahaha
7. Thanks! I'm working on a brand new spacecraft now and will take that into consideration.
8. nope. my Kerbin orbit was 12km not my munar orbit did the pictures work?
9. uh oh. typo in TITLE. how do I delete the post??
10. Yesterday I conducted my first Mun landing. I used Foursh's Munitaur II spacecraft to achieve this. Once landing on the Mun I decided I didn't WANT to make the return voyage. It felt like there would be no trace of my journey if I simply headed back to Kerbin. I had an idea. The mods I had installed were: Cart Mod, ISA MapSat, Camera Mod, and Flag Mod. PLANNING I decided to conduct a mission to land a rover on the Mun. It would be composed of a cart with a command module and camera on top and a height-mapping satellite tucked under bottom. I wanted to use the Munitaur again but it is used to land a "command module with fuel and an engine for landing and return to Kerbin". I wanted it to land my rover. I did some major changes to the 'Mun orbit insertion/landing/return" stage and tested weight and I finally came up with a design that would not require changes to the first stage of the Munitaur. Not needing to make a return trip helped too I was almost ready to make the journey but when I tested the lander I realised that once I disconnected the radial engines (used for Munar orbit insert/landing) my rover couldn't move as it was surrounded by the engines. I INSTANTLY came up with a solution. Once landed using the landing legs I would turn on the radial engines slightly, JUST not enough to lift off. Then when I disconnect the radial decouplers the change of mass allows for the engines to fly away from the rover in a kind of water fountain shape THE MISSION I was ready. I got into a low orbit of 12km, waited for Munrise and fired my engine. Once into an Mun passby I retro-burned into a Munar orbit. I lowered the Periapsis to 5km, reached the Periapsis, then retro-burned again until the orbit was broken. I lost all of my horizontal momentum then slowly descended, burning upwards occasionally to slow my fall. Once I was only about 20m above the munar surface I lowered by landing legs and slowly touched down. I had finally landed but the greatest show was yet to come. I had to separate out my rover. I performed the technique I have named the 'Jonmund maneuver' (someones probably done it before me.) and turned my engines "slightly" on. I hit the space bar and watched them fly away and my rover had finally landed safely. 11. (still cant break 12000 m/s dV on Stock but will get there sometime) *awkwardly walks away backwards with jaw dangling open*
12. Everyone's saying eve is a planet but based on Novas screenshot from the blue moon of Meander you can see a blue/purple moon which (completely different from Nova's big solar system with Egar and stuff) could be Eve??? JUST SPECULATION The tan coloured moon I drew orbiting Meander was based of Nova's screenshot of Meander's moons in map view. Is that the moon you're talking about Nova? P.S. MS Paint FTW
13. I've had a lot of projects since I got KSP recently, specifically my Phobos orbiter (my first rocket into orbit) and my Botany orbiter (my current orbiter). Any tips for improvement? 14. Thankyou SO MUCH. I've made Kerbin, Mun and Kerbol orbiters before but this was my first mun landing and I did it with YOUR SHIP! It runs super well on my old laptop too and I can run at full throttle without any explosions!
15. COBALT

G'Day!

I think it might have been because my engines weren't powerful enough. I was trying to get into Kerbol orbit and I finally did! (but my laptop almost broke because of the HUGE orbit! D:) I'm going really good and I finally landed on the moon! Is it any less of an achievement if I downloaded someone elses ship to do it even though I've made ships that have orbited the Mun myself..
