  1. I stuck a research probe to an asteroid! class D! ... I'm so proud of myself it's sick. What'd YOU do?
  2. I mean are there any special criteria for the thing detecting them? Does it just spawn, is there a time thing, is there a range thing?
  3. So I'm trying to start my asteroid capture mission and decided to start small; grabbing an A class. but all I can find are C-E classes. How do I detect A classes?
  4. Indeed it is! But I'm not asking if people want it. I'm asking people to describe how they'd want it done if it WERE implemented. Different thing.

[DISCLAIMER: This is not suggesting life support, I'm genuinely curious how people -want- it to be handled.] So I've been checking some of the life support mods, but it seems like the only options I can find are the 'amazingly complex' or the 'amazingly simple.' Therefore, I'm curious- what do you want? a) Just Oxygen levels Oxygen and CO2 levels c) Oxygen, CO2, Food, Water, waste d) Oxygen, CO2, Food, Water, waste, heat, et cetera?
  6. I saw this go by and laughed my ass off, so I'll start:
  7. Fifty-fifty. I tried to land close to it, but I'd figured on several kilometers between 'em. somehow I just -nailed- the landing!
  8. No pics, but I sure got me a few interesting recent ones. First off; Sent a teeny probe to Eve. The idea was I'd fire this damn thing via decoupler like a bullet into Eve's atmosphere, and use the onboard parachute to bring it and the full science suite down safely. I only had about 200 charge on it, but I was certain I'd be fine since I had all those solar panels. ... Guess what I forgot to put on? Yeah, the panels were attached to the stage below the bullet. I didn't even get a single transmission out. Second: Sent a manned Apollo Style lander to the mun! All was going great, when on descent I found out I'd mis-estimated fuel requirements. About 50m above the surface I ran completely out and dropped like a rock. It might've stuck the landing, had it not landed near the large trench. It hit hard enough to roll into the side of the trench and then aaaaaaaallll the way down to the center of said trench; stranding poor Jeb (yes, I keep him alive.) in a place where he had to jetpack- then walk- several kilometers before I had any chance of landing a retrieval craft.

  10. Question; does the BTDT thing actually -do- anything? I've tried using it but I can't seem to figure out what it does when active... [Edit] F*Cking derp, I figured how to get it open. Now; how do I change the target...?

  12. Yeah, not a lot of story here; Jebediah flew Kerbpollo 1's lander and managed to touch down right next to Pegasus 1; the first object (in this run) that I sent to the Mun. There he is posing happily next to the probe! Just thought it was a hell of a cool shot. XD
  13. Okay- is there a way to see what is conflicting with what? For some reason I booted KSP today- without changing any mods since yesterday- and this is my new HUD. But only when I slap a Mechjeb core on there. I also can't stage, throttle up outside of the IVA mode, or pretty much do -anything.-
  14. See I usually just build that into the Ascent module. I have a sort of reusable, de-orbit-able (is that a word?) subassembly for three different sizes. XD

  18. So, it's taken forever- but now, thanks to the new overhaul of the engine... Olympus is online! Six flights, six modules! http://imgur.com/a/l0gPU#0 Here's a more detailed look at my baby. I know it's not the most detailed station of all time- but considering before with KSP I couldn't get more than two, three docked modules... Now all I need to do is create a soyuz analogue...
  19. All I plan to do is make a page called SCI with four values. Think that'd take a plugin? O.o Additionally- anyone know what I have to add to docking ports to make the docking cam work? That thing is kinda useful c.c
  20. Question. How easy is it to edit these things on your own? I'm trying to add that docking cam that's MIA, and the temp/press/grav/accel thing I proposed, just to see if I can learn this stuff. Any ideas?
  21. Hey, I have a random question- how hard would it be to put scientific data into this? Like the temp/grav/accel/barometric readings on a display? I know it's kinda useless ingame but it might be cool to see!
