KSP1 Computer Building/Buying Megathread
ROFLCopter64bit replied to Leonov's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Anyone want to give me tips for this? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ROFLCopter64bit/saved/1UvO On a side note, I'm going to get this to carry my laptop around in: http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=A01043 -
8/10 Where I need to get all my vending-dispensed Canadians. If you need something to reference me to something, call me the "Adventure Time" guy or the "Guy who makes all the very useful programs that no-one cares about".

When I can't boot Win7, I have a backup custom Linux Boot CD to find out what's gone wrong. Comes with Firefox preinstalled

If I wanted to post the first game I ever played, I would've posted Pokemon Silver for the GBC (Still have a functioning GBC and a dry battery cartridge), but I want to post my favorite. Here I go. Because Bubsy 3D caused it to die, one of the things on my list to do before I die is to reboot the series, whether-or-not it may be decades old.

Not effective for me, Winter time

My birthday runs straight through the middle of it. Convenient timing.

If Portal 2 is in the same universe as HL, then it shows in the moon scene that Earth has been restored (The oceans aren't drained). But when this happens is unknown, as Chell was in long-term sleep for an unknown amount of time (Not 999999999 days, the counter could've been broken, there are audio glitches in the announcement).

My laptop has a 128GB SSD (I didn't even want the SSD) so I have to compress it using the NTFS tool. You know, Right click -> Properties -> Attributes, Advanced -> Compress contents to save space Using this method I can have them compressed while still being able to use them.

Well, I did have to take my computer out of the place where it usually is to rearrange cords and stuff. The user below me needs to do a hack-and-slash reinstall of their computer. (Reinstall windows/mac/linux/whatever because you have too many programs running)

When updating AMD video drivers, is it supposed to shut off the monitor?
ROFLCopter64bit replied to Piv's topic in The Lounge
To update your video drivers, the video card needs to be turned off. It's just like how your computer needs to be restarted when you get a new windows update. -

ROFLCopter64bit replied to Jnrdingo's topic in The Lounge
I don't know if this counts, but I have been hoping for another game in the Portal series. -
Landed maybe, but gotten off it? The user below me also thinks that the moderators setup the chain that happened before.

Don't you mean: I chose "Choose this" before it was chosen. -
KSP1 Computer Building/Buying Megathread
ROFLCopter64bit replied to Leonov's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'm not really sure if I want to go through with getting it, but for now a hack-and-slash reinstall should be enough for now. Also, if anyone is starting a new system (whether it be old or new) use Ninite to download all the necessary programs all at once. It's helped me before.
