most of them are content off of the forums.
I consider meyself half-noob, as I have only gone to duna, the Mun, Eve and I think LSO; all while doing my best to create my own mod. Not going too well actually.

How about when the nuclear rover body is in use that the rover 'overheats' as the amount of power being used at one time increases? More power = more heat
That last one may be hard to do without an invisible engine that produces no thrust or a plugin.

The game no longer requires or recognizes(I don't think) the folders, and, like I said, they're empty. So it's just a matter of dragging them out of the .Zip before putting a new version for download.
Actually, I've removed them and can confirm that they just come back when you run the game.

My asteroid tug is already lagging my PC, and its mission is just to deflect a class C a bit so it gets the right gravity assist. I fear if I want to do anything to an E class with any control I'll need a faster computer.
if all else fails, download and use my 2.5m engine and fuel to redirect D and higher relatively fast.

there was a mod that lets you zoom out of the VAB real far but I have lost where it is.
It died, Sjno remade it, but better, as the FireSpitter Hanger Extender.

Suggestions:
1. Manned RoveMate(One of the unfinished, windowless stock IVAs, like the Mk2 cockpit might work.)
2. Longer rovemate
3. wider rovemate
4. combo of both 2 & 3
5. Rovemate with a slot for a small engine on the back.
all I can think of. Remember, suggestions, not demands.

Still only getting some of the parts in KW to show up...only the tanks and the SRBs show up.

Try the Linux version, it supports 64x.
Also, Active Texture Managment is helpful, along with manual texture compressors.

I'm confident I could put 200ish into orbit in one run, but I don't have the time or the system to build a lifter for that.

Opioins are a right, voicing them is an option.

Gaius, love the parts, and I think a combo of your re-scale plugin and Firespitter's texture switcher should be stock.
Might even add the slider to my parts and remove the different scaled CFGs.
I do have one suggestion, and that is to provide a DL link to JUST the plugin, encase someone only wants that.

Reeper, the XML config works fine, mine is still prducing the color I defined it to with the first custom color supporting release.

I use it for the reed-outs and autopilot...but only the accent autopilot, the spaceplane and rover autopilots seem to be brain dead to me.
I do, however, turn off the autopilot with my engines on a stage, as it over throttles them and they both overheat and explode, as well as apply deadly Gs to all the parts ahead of them.

Sony is making VR goggles as well now, so if oculus does not survive through FB's digestive track, there is still hope. VR is the future, it's just 20+ years late.
Sony tried it before, almost 20ish years ago, but it flopped horribly.

Anyone got any idea why my PC, running Windows Vista 32x Home Basic, is starting at 1024x7680? I have the resolution for it to run in set to the screen's native resolutin of 1600x900 60hz, so why is it starting at a lower than native screen res until I open the Nvidia control panel?

just an idea here, but why not experiment with the next step; Volumetric oceans that have waves while still retaining the...ocean...ness? if you get what I mean?
