    I don`t know if this is the reason. But you have Interstellar Fuel Switch and B9 Part Switch together. As far as I know, the two don't work particularly well together because they both do the same thing. I may be wrong here, but I have already read something about it.

    So if i uninstall one will the other take its place or will that break my craft?

    Yeah, I've experienced this quite a number of times, almost every launch with a engine that has an extendable nozzle from BDB. IDK what causes it, but I found what sometimes fixes it is throttle down/off and then wait, or play with the throttle. Time warp also seems to trigger it a lot, so make sure you're outside of time warp when deploying the engine.

    Yeah, that's why i usually just replace the extending engines with a fixed engine with similar stats. But that's annoying because then my ISP suffers.

    You're going to have to do what Poodmund said and take up the issue with the maker of whatever rescale mod you're using.  The SOIs shown in your screenshots are actually smaller than what they are in the OPM configs -- Ovok's SOI at normal scale should be 94 km and Hale's 41 km, yet the screenshot shows them as 58 and 16 km.  So clearly something is screwing up the SOIs, making them smaller rather than larger.  This is not an OPM problem.

    (edit)

    I've figured out what's happening, but I don't know why.  For some reason the sphereOfInfluence parameter is being ignored and you're  getting the KSP computed SOI values for Hale and Ovok.  I suspect this is some sort of a problem with the rescale mod or Sigma Dimensions.  Certainly not an OPM issue.

    Thanks for your help, ill take it up with the SigmaDimensions devs.

    Are you sure you applied the patch correctly?  You should take the text that Leganeski gave you, save it as a plain text file but with a .cfg extension, and then place the file inside your GameData folder.  I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

    Yeah, i did that. It didnt work. am I supposed to place the .cfg inside the ksp gamedata folder or the Kopernicus gamedata folder?

    The SOIs shown in the picture are the automatically calculated values based on the relative masses of Hale/Ovok and Sarnus. As you've noticed, these are too small, so OPM includes patches that manually override the SOI sizes to be bigger. Your 2.5x rescale mod has somehow disabled these patches or otherwise forgotten to take them into consideration, so they no longer fix the problem.

    Try using this Module Manager patch:

    @Kopernicus:FINAL
    {
    	@Body[Hale]
    	{
    		@Properties
    		{
    			%sphereOfInfluence = 102500
    		}
    	}
    	@Body[Ovok]
    	{
    		@Properties
    		{
    			%sphereOfInfluence = 235000
    		}
    	}
    }

    Good suggestion, but it didnt work. both moons are still larger than their SOI's

    Most appreciated.  I wonder if the masking can't be used at all?  Maybe the "fake- planet" needs to be visible to the game.  Odd.

    If that's the case a lot of mods will need to update.  That would be painful.  Can you do me a favor and test Release-62 and see if it helps you?  It has less of the masking and will interfere with mods worse, but may confirm my theory.

    Strategia will need to be manually updated, but for now there is no need to revert.  Just download "RemoveWatchdog.cfg" in the release notes to your config folder and it will turn that change off until some mods update.

    Linky.

    Oh don't worry, I never work when I shouldn't (as evidenced by my sometimes long work-related abscenes).  You should never feel guilty for reporting a bug.  Better you experience it than me in my playthrough, is how I look at it...  lol.

    That is an odd one.  It claims it can't load the sun, hmmm....  what was the last version you used that worked (if any?)

    Screenshot of GameData folder, maybe?

    The last Kopernicus version that worked was 1.12.1-61

  6. Hi, im getting a really weird error on startup

    "Kopernicus was not able to load the custom planetary system due to an exception in the loading process. Loading your savegame is NOT recomended because the missing planets could corrupt it and delete your progress.

    Please contact the planet pack author or the Kopernicus Team about the issue and send them a valid bug report incluiding your KSP.log your Modulemanager .Configcache file and the folder Logs/Kopernicus/ from your KSP directory"

    As far as im aware all of the mods relating to the planet packs (Rescale x2.5 and OPM) are up to date.

    Here's a link to the requested logs

    Many thanks!

    Well what's in your game data folder?

    The required mods are:

    Kopernicus

    Modular flight integrator (Bundled with Kopernicus)

    CTTP (Bundled with OPM)

    OPM (Duh)

    And Module Manager (Bundled with Kopernicus)

    If you have all those and it's still not working, try uninstalling and reinstalling them, sometimes it's no more than a little download mistake.

    ok, ill re-install those and get back to you

    Mission report, 27.06.21
    KJR was causing some problems with KSP 1.11 (with EVA construction actually) wobbling, shaking, flying, gravity fluctuations, in one word: Kraken, then after a long while it began to work with 1.11.2. Fine.
    But today I tried it on 1.12 aaand the Kraken-y behavior is back.

    I would also like to report very wobbly docking ports. my ships are flexing by up to 90 degrees XD
