  1. Oh my God. That looks amazing. How many parts are there and how much FPS do you get with that thing?
  2. I know that Crew Manifest gives you the ability to fill pods while in LKO. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here, but I think what you want is MechJeb, it has approximate trajectories of landers and approximate orbits after aerobraking. If you're wanting to be able to control multiple ships at once you're going to need people and KMP. Now if you're wanting weapons to mount on crafts, then Pirated Weaponry is pretty much what you want. Some of the mods are a bit old, but they should still work though. I once had a settings.cfg file from .17 working for my saves until about .19, so you should have no problems.
  3. Great minds think alike, as I had made something like this almost exactly the same a little while back. At least yours is manned though.
  4. I don't know who you are, and all I know is that you were a community manager. I also know (from what I hear) that you were the best. Happy New Years and welcome back. Will there be badass-ery?
  5. Rusty Hangar Aircraft Emporium. It's important to come up with a back story just in case the feds come and start asking questions. It's my business and no one else should care where my profits come from. *eye twitches* Shameless self promotion.
  6. I've found that I type pretty fast I just make a lot of mistakes in the process. Backspace is my friend. Also I taught myself how to type with what I call "gamer hands." Essential my left hand is over WASD, shift, and space while my right hand is either on the mouse or hovering above the right side of the keyboard. Also, when I don't look at my keyboard to type, I press the keys by memory of where they're at so if I move my hands over by even one key, I start typing gibberish.
  7. I'm glad the space program's budget is going to something useful. Also the most realistic train on the forums that I've seen. We don't get a lot of trains.
  8. So, you want to be a successful modder, huh? Join the big leagues? Oh, yes! I would love to! Well, you're going to need to listen to my very command. But first, are a successful modder already? Choose: Yes! No! So you chose to keep reading? Good for you. So... Now what? Now I show you, young grasshopper. First, you're going to need a a folder that you can store files in and access in a flash. For example, use mine. The folder I use is highlighted: Ignore all the other icons, please. Is that all? Am I done? Am I successful modder now? *cough cough* Not yet. Anyways, congrats! On what? For your first step in becoming a successful modder! Yay! Yay! Now you need some organization. Take mine for example again. You can sort it out with mod versions, KSP versions (like me), or whatever else suits your fancy. I've never modded so much back in .17-.21 that mods needed their own folder. All right, now what? Am I done? Settle down! Not yet, you still need some mods to fill that folder! Like what? Well, personally, I have several, but let's take the TAC Part Lister mod. Sponsored By... It shows you the number of parts, weight, and cost while in the VAB (Click the picture for the link). If you're on Google Chrome, drag and drop the .zip file into the folder that you made for it, kind of like these. If you're on IE (for some reason), then just save it to the aforementioned folder. That's a lot of instructions. I'm not sure I can follow them all right now. Being a pro at stuff takes dedications and comprehension skills, so keep reading. Fine. Don't 'fine' me. I'll 'fine' whomever I want! Anyways, the .zip file is in the folder, so when you extract the contents they'll be placed directly into the folder you made for that mod so you don't have to move it anywhere except the KSP main folder when you apply them to the game. Like this: Too many open windows! Is that it? Am I done now? Yes, grasshopper, you are now done, and are on the path to modding glory! Finally! I thought you would never shut up! You're not a modding pro yet, you still have a long way to go. But now you are on the right path. Congratulations.
  9. *cough* http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/22251-Showcase-SPACE-STATIONS!-Post-your-pictures-here *cough*
  10. I believe the devs have implemented random failures in the form of the Kraken
  11. I'm too scared to send Kerbals interplanetary because what if I run out of fuel? My orbital rendezvous skills suck.
  12. It may be in part because at night I get so bored, then I look over at my computer an think "Yogscast! Team Fortress! Skyrim! General Mucking About!" Once I realize there is nothing to be done on the computer it's too late (pun intended)
  13. To be honest, I'm about to tip over in my chair from sleepiness.
  14. I need help. Sleep has been a problem for me, and these long weekends from school do not help. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the free time, it's just that I stay up late playing KSP, Minecraft, TF2, Skyrim, Viscera, Tekkit, Half-Life 2, and sometimes Tropico 3. That's the beginning of the end. Every time I stay up on a school night (because I can't go to sleep) and I decide to go back to bed at 4:30 AM, it never ends well. You see, I normally wake up at 6 in the morn', and don't leave until 7:20 (I like my time.) School doesn't start until, at the very latest, 7:45. Several times the aforementioned action happens and I wake up late, one time at 8:30, near the end of 1st hour. That's my major vice. Blemish. Flaw. Whatever you call it, it's nothing I am proud of. Now for my dilemma: I don't know what to do. Do I stay up all night and possibly risk the fact that I might fall victim to sleep, only to be woken up by the prying eyes of a teacher? Do I go to sleep and risk another time I might sleep in and be late? I have taken sleeping medication before. Nothing serious, just some over-the-counter stuff like Melatonin and Benadryl. I'm sure I have some leftover from another time somewhere but I'm not sure where.
  15. Some humans lack brain power yet we do not send them on one way trips to the outer edge of the solar system where they will inevitably run out of fuel and will have to wait several years for a rescue mission (if there even is one), now do we?
  16. Why would a Gilly lander work for Ike?
  17. Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Guns n' Roses. Unfortunately I play this more than I should need to. (I play it at the death of a Kerbal.)
  18. I recently put a space station up in orbit and have about 3 return modules docked to it. I only plan to have two Kerbals manning it though. However I also have a ton of debris orbiting equatorially so that's a problem.
  19. First off, I'm not talking about real life, hence why this isn't in Science Labs or The Space Lounge. Now for the main entry... Whenever I do manned space travel, there are certain things I just cannot do. I cannot do anything longer than maybe a 7 day orbit around Kerbin without sending to people (Kerbals?) along. So if I were to send a manned flyby to the moon, I wouldn't be able to only send one Kerbal. It just doesn't see right to me. I cannot build a manned rocket without an escape tower. However my escape towers are not able to save a Kerbal from impending doom, they're just meant to make the Kerbal feel safe and to not flip the f*** out. I also cannot do any sort of space station without some sort of means of return back to Kerbin. So now I ask, what are your limits on manned space travel? Or lack thereof? Are you willing to risk the mental instability of a Kerbal who has been alone for too long? Do you torment your Kerbals with no means of escape from a failed Whackjovian rocket? Will you summon a Kerbal to a one-way mission to a space station without any means of return than his small EVA jetpack?
