Completed my first interplanetary mission. I spent about 6 months of Kerbal Time in Solar orbit trying to get an Eve intercept, but I got there in the end.

Nowhere near it, though I only discovered this game a month ago. It'll probably be up in the top 5 by the time I get bored of it....and that's a lot of hours for someone who has children and has been playing games for 20 odd years.

Dude that is epic.

Okay I have to ask, what exactly were you trying to achieve with that....thing?

If you get a handle on using the manoeuvre tool, getting to the Mun and back is a lot easier. You can minimise fuel use to the point where my last Mun mission, I came back with half a tank left when hitting Kerbin's atmosphere.

Loved this. There's always the temptation to hit the F9 key, but there's nothing quite as cool as a rescue mission.

Dock to stabilise and align your approach perfectly then undock, backup and realign. It's certainly one of the hardest things to do in this game, especially when dealing with large station parts and especially if you don't have your rcs jets balanced to the centre of mass.

I've taken bit of the Union Jack and the Australian flag and put a Kerbal spin on it.
