This is my first post on this forum. I always loved the ADF-01 Falken from Ace Combat and wanted to take a swing at recreating it in KSP. I'm reasonably happy with it. It flies quite nicely, but i wish i could get more of the boxyness with the engines and a better wing shape. Also would love to get that little wing at the bottom to fit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. https://www./folder/undefined/

Probe cores won't help. They physics getting turned off at a distance is the problem, they reach ground level and vanish. I had a similar thread not long ago: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/61850-Kerbal-dropship-dispersion-vehicle

I spent a lot of time trying to get a in atmosphere drop ship to work only to learn it won't. then failed to get to the moon. Not the best day.

New Problem, the drop pods are not surviving landing, when I directly control one it lands just fine, but if I don't they vanish. Do parachutes not function properly when a ship is not in focus? I saw that they deployed just fine. -

I already tested dropping them at 25km and they made it all the way to the ground. -

thank you. now I just have to tweak the drop pods for autonomous landing. -
I have been playing around with the concept of deploying multiple Kerbals or probes from one vehicle however I have run into a fundamental problem. I have been using this ship to test this out: When I release the smaller capsules they shoot off and their parachutes deploy, but when the reach a certain distance they simply vanish and the kerbals inside them are marked as MIA. I have checked to make sure I have persistent debris on. I have also attached probe cores, but this didn't solve it either. Is this type of dispersal method possible?

Resources - postponed, cancelled or reserved for a DLC?
Cordeos replied to czokletmuss's topic in KSP1 Discussion
This is an alpha funded game, we are getting access to the early buggy builds and hearing a lot of what would normally be private internal discussions. Features are going to get suggested, planned, tested, modified, scrapped, downsized, scaled up etc. -

How are Probes cheatly? They exist in real life and are an integral part of space flight. -
Heavy Lifter Construction

Yikes I think my laptop would implode loading that thing. When I get my tower again I will play around with that design. -
I built a ship that is so unbalanced the slightest turn sends it spinning out of control. Really not sure why but it was fun to watch and try to save.
