Rather than just throwing you into a load screen with a stuttering icon, how about a gradual fade to black, then a fade back in? I think it'd look quite dramatic and theatrical, and really fit with the theme of the game. As long as things remain smooth, I'm not too bothered by load screens, though obviously faster is better.

Hey all, pretty simple question: can you rename save files? Is it as easy as renaming the folder inside /saves/ or will I break something?
