  1. Basically, a few large modules would need to be carried to a location of your choice to setup a space centre. Let's say you put one on Minmus, here would be the benefits: -Ability to take off without the gravity or air resistance of Kerbin -Some parts could be made cheaper, in the event limited budgets are introduced due to the natural vacuum and low gravity. Good-quality solar panels for example, would need to be made in an artificial vacuum on Kerbin, which costs more than taking advantage of a natural vacuum on say Minmus -perhaps it could be used for repairs and refueling for ships on their way back to Kerbin, or on their way to another destination such as Eve Say you put one on Pol: -All the benefits of the Minmus base -Convenient when exploring other moons of Jool -A ship on it's way to Eeloo can stop for refueling or repair In order to avoid making the game too easy, these will be big, heavy modules which provide no benefits in the way of fuel or boosters (unless you count them being space to attach these things). They may even need to be brought one at a time. They will also need to be in the same general area as each other. Multiple modules should be needed to create a single building. Example of modules that could be required: http://pastebay.com/1278800
  2. Maybe the best thing would be to make those "preset" difficulties with those lists and let people check one box that selects them all and deselects everything in the other difficulties, but let people go in and check/uncheck various specific features. eg you could have unlimited fuel AND Kerbals who need to have farms or food resupply missions.
  3. I've seen some people saying the game is too easy or too hard, so this is how I think it should work: Beginner: -Unlimited fuel -More durable parts -Mostly just so people can learn the basics of orbiting, landing, building, etc without yet having to worry about fuel as well as having a more forgiving landing system Normal: -The game as it is now Expert: -Not possible to get a good map of a planet until you get a few satillites in orbit around it; eg it will be hard to know whether or not your ship is headed for water on Eve until you actually get there if you don't have satillites -Too much spinning or g-force can kill crew -Must either set up a "space farm" or crew dies of hunger; finite supplies of food can be brought in crew capsules -Limited budget and Kerbals, more can be gained either through waiting or by achievements such as successful landings or putting satellites into orbit. Custom: -ability to enable or disable various features from any of the three difficulties
  4. Would be too easy to engage on accident and waste fuel or screw up orbits. Something like ctrl+x to restore would be ok though.
