Hello,
i was building a SSTO today and found something weird.
The RAPIER engines only use the fuel from the tank they are attached to, the other two tanks placed exactly behind them dont give fuel to the engines.
There are no parts hidden inside the tanks.
I have tested it with and without fueld duct.
The side engines also using the tank as source like the RAPIER engines.
after the bicoupler is emty i the engines stiop working and the other two tanks are full. i still can transfer fuel to the bicoupler.
the two mk1 jet fuel tanks are not connected via a fuel duct to the bicoupler and the engines are not even trying to use their fuel.... must be some magical connection. maybe a new feature? invisible fuel lines? who knows?
i7 2860QM 2,50 Ghz
12GB Ram
Gtx560 Sli 1.5 gb VRAM each
Win 7 x64

I´ve Installed KSP again and also some mods. i´ve tried with x64 and x86.
i7 2860QM 2,50 Ghz HT
12GB Ram
Gtx560 Sli = 3GB VRam
Win 7 HP x64
Ksp is installed on a External HDD with USB 3.0 (like every other game i have)
Ksp crashes randomly about ~3 times a Hour. Sometimes right after the loading screen but mostly if im going back from a flight to the VAB. and sometimes it just crashes...
it gets really annoying & i hope someone can help me with this.

I would help you with the Modeling but i have never done a part in KSP because i´ve never read some of the tutorials but i released several objects for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. I´m quite good in modeling. if someone want to team up with me who can texture, animate and writing this config stuff i would start modeling several nice objects. Drills in different sizes like for little rovers, tanks and so on. it could be more efficient to work with several members on this project.
WIP pictures of my canceled work in rct3. As you see i was not that good in texturing back then but im sure to do some nice textures.

i´ve also learned to work with autocad in school but for modelling in ksp i would prefer sketchup and a export to blender.

Ooh, I quite like that two stage design. I might have to shamelessly rip it off for some landers I've been planning.
Feel free to use this design. But do me a favor and post your work afterwards.

Hey,
I am working on a Rover with a 2 staged escape pod. Mostly the capsule can dock or undock with the rover or other station parts in the final base on a planet (last picture). The rover has an emergency mechanism to escape if something really bad happened. It comes with a bottom stage to land on planets without an atmosphere and a upper stage to move your Kerbal safely around without the need to go out.

i want to introduce my latest build and a hover bike i built some days ago.
Required mods:

1. fasten your seatbelt
2. aktivate the antigravity device for hover mode by pressing alt+F12
3. go into docking mode and push the starfighter with the rcs trusters up
4. activate engines turn on SAS and go!
5. after reaching a speed of more than 150m/s you can turn of the anti-gravity device (Hover bike requires the gravity hack)
6. enjoy
you schould activate the infinite fuel option. because its a spacefighter and it can go to infinity ... and beyond!
nothing realistic but a fun to fly spacefighter for your daily fight against the evil.
never trottle to maximum.
