  3. I am trying to build a plane that will drop autonomoaus science probes into different biomes on kerbin so that I could recover them later for their science. But no matter what I do they all disappear after 2.5 km, even if I have a probe core on them, etc. Any ideas here?

  6. Great Scott what have I done!!! I feel like Dr. Frankenstein here. So I did what any logically thinking human would do. I tried to take it out and launch it.... And the game froze......
  7. I had to get out and push coming back from minmus................... 4 times....(had to go back in refuel my EVA pack, go back out, repeat)

  9. Dear OP. Im sorry you are not entertained with career mode, as much as many of us are. I know I LOVE career mode, although I think the tech tree could be tweaked an ITTY BITTY bit, but that can be easily remedied with a mod. Now with career mode, I pretty much only use sandbox as a tool to learn how to get to other planets reliably, getting proper phase angles, etc. I also feel optimization of code is a KEY to a well polished game and Im very happy with what squad did to help OUR playing experience. Your statement regarding it taking "literally like two days to make one" is baseless. I think that to support said statement, you should go develop a planet, do all the coding, properly match the collision messes *insert dev. mumbo jumbo* and come back on say, the 27th or the 28th and present it to us as a mod. where we can test it. Also we would like you to include a few biomes and science as well. As for multiplier I am not sure how I feel about it, however I will be open to exploring it. I would like to have seen a resource system, but even with kethane it adds a metric buttload of complexity. And if you are still unhappy then just stop playing the game man. No need to beat others down telling them they aren't doing a good job when you are the one unhappy with the game. Maybe try Orbiter or something.   10. I can dock pretty well....but getting out to other planets lets just not go there. Once I leave Kerbins SOI its all downhill from there. And downhill usually leads to a stranded ship soon to be terminated. And crashing. Im good at crashing

  12. From what I've gathered it now pays dividends to lauch manned clusters of science. Back in .22 there was no need because you could spam transmit. So far i went to minmus with 8 goos and 2 sci jr's. And from keeping all the data i was able to get full science out of all the goos(and science jr) Unfortunately i lost the whole load on reentry-go see the parachute thread. I'll be back on minmus with a few tweaks and let you know the final count. Ill also send a goo cluster of maybe 16 to eve to test even further. These are just preliminary results so stay tuned.
  13. My parachutes are still ripping the Sci. Jr's off my capsules. Only took one loss of a full load of science from minmus to make me start strutting and moar chutes
  14. This thread needs to closed. Guys(yes I'm not being politically correct) seriously. Put down the scale of justice and go build some ridiculously big rocket. Nuff said.
  15. Some last minute reassurances group the space centers resident therapist. He had the whole crew feeling especially enthusiastic about the whole ordeal
