How do you make another copy of Kerbal?

Recommended Posts

Well, basically, how do you make another copy of KSP? 1.0 WILL break mods, and I want to keep my current 0.90.0 version, and have another, stock game in 1.0. I see that youtubers have done it,but they never explain how. So, how?

Go to the installation folder. Right click it. Click Copy. Go somewhere else, right click. Click Paste.

If you are using Steam the installation folder will be Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program

How do you update one, but keep the other in its current state?

Just make a copy of the game folder ("Kerbal Space Program") on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\". Something like "Kerbal Space Program 0.90". The "normal" folder will still be updated by steam while the new folder you make will be untouched.
