1.0 missing mod key

The right-shift no longer functions as the mod key. My keyboard has no windoze keys. Is there a workaround? Please help!

Go into settings.cfg, find "MODIFIER_KEY", and change it to "RightShift". I think that should change it back to the way it was (I can't confirm, since on my installation, it stayed the way it should be despite a completely clean reinstall).

Thank you. I see the mod key is now Left-Alt for some reason. Maybe I'll just leave it like that and see if I get used to it. It's not like I'm going back to playing 0.90 ;-)

Edit: Neither Left-Alt nor Right-Alt works correctly as the Modifier key. Changed it back to Right-Shift as XenonBlade described.

How strange. It stayed as right shift for me. Do you have the game from Steam?

That might be the difference, then - I did a completely clean install from Steam, and nothing changed.

Left-Alt is often used by Linux Window Managers as a modifier key (eg, to move windows). Depending on your Window Manager you can disable it on a per-window basis. Personally I configured my Window Manager to use the Windows key, leaving Left-Alt free for other things (such as KSP).
