Rescue contracts always female?

It seems like every rescue contract I see uses the wording "her." I haven't tried to rescue every single one, so maybe this is just a wording thing and some of them would turn out to be males? Or maybe it's just a weird coincidence?

I've rescued plenty of both genders, so I'd assume it's either confirmation bias or weird randomness.

OK cool. I don't mind having lots of females in my space program. Wish we had so many IRL.

Thought it was some sort of "lady driver" thing going on in KSP...

Confirmed, I got my second scientist by rescuing and he was a he. Just sheer (un)luck I think . I use rescue contracts because I'd rather build a 50,000spacebuck rocket than pay the pittance it would take to just hire a new one from the complex .

Pittance? I have only 5 Kerbals and my next hire would be 90k+...
