[1.0.4] Mod interactions: RealFuels, SolverEngines, KSP-Interstellar Extended

Hi,

Realism Overhaul puts Solver Engines and Real Fuels as dependencies.

However, SolverEngines seems to modify the behavior of KSPI engines. They become incapable of changing deltaV or thrust depending on the propellant being used ie a thermal rocket nozzle will produce 500kN @ 1000isp whether you use Water, Hydrogen or LiquidCO. Worse, MechJeb and Kerbal Engineer become incapable of calculating the thrust and deltaV of the KSPI engines.

Is it possible to run 'RealFuels' engines without SolverEngines?

Is there some modification that can be made to the KSPI engine module so that it can be 'recognized' by SolverEngines?
A simple MM patch to save the KSPI engines from Solver can't do the job?
I'm pretty sure SolverEngines doesn't do anything on its own.

I'd love to write up a MM patch and add it to SimpleRealism, but I have no idea how RealismOverhaul (I don't think RealFuels is doing anything to KSPI-E) is changing the KSPI-E engines, and which patch I should investigate.

Ideas?
