Asteroid Day causing looping MissingFieldExceptions

I happened to glance at my logs and noticed repeated exceptions being logged:

MissingFieldException: Field 'FinePrint.Contracts.Parameters.SpecificOrbitParameter.targetBody' not found.

i reproduced this on a clean install of 1.0.5.1028 by installing the Asteroid Day mod. Removing the mod from my regular install fixes it.

Are you sure you have the most up-to-date version of Asteroid Day?  They released an update on November 9 for 1.0.5.
